  1. People usually show their true colors toward the end. The same thing happened in my program. You worry about you. 2 months will fly before you know it.
  2. Don't be discouraged. When you get back to the states employers will recognize military spouse situations so don't worry at all. I make sure to always expain my situations to employers and they embrace it. Keep your head up. You'll be fine
  3. If you want to go the lpn- rn bridge program online and clinicals are done locally. Look into it before you think its not for you. I thought it wasnt for me at first too. ISU will take all of your college credits and I believe excelsior will too but Im not sure. I'm looking into ISU now.
  4. As far as the cnas. You are the boss so they can talk all they want as long as they respect you as the supervisor. Whoever was there previously well they are gone and the cnas need to get over it. As far as working in LTC. There is a chain of command. It sounds like there is no structure there. Take that as your cue to go but in the mean time stand your ground!
  5. Wait for the official results and pray!!
  6. I second that jadelpn
  7. I recommend the cna course. I was a cna before I became an lpn and being a cna helped a lot. I knew the basics and I had a lot of really good nurses help me and teach me and making me familiar with a lot of different things but you have to be proactive. Get the test plan off your state board of nursing website to prioritize how to study and believe to achieve! !
  8. That's so unprofessional. We are trained as nurses to COMMUNICATE it kills me how this is still happening and then when medical errors happen everyone wants to point fingers at everyone else. People need to get a clue. I would said something not to argue but to make sure you don't walked all over, like are the care plans updated? Care plans are always outdated. I haven't seen one yet that was up to date and I've been working in nursing 7 years now in 3 different states in many different settings.
  9. How ridiculously unprofessional. What manager on earth would be so immature. If he had an issue he should spoken to YOU behind closed doors. You have the right to question your position and the reason why he handled the issue in the manner he held it.
  10. It was rough but was because of test anxiety more than anything but the questions were actually you either know it or you don't.
  11. It is the sweeetest feeling in the world and I'm so so so happy and thank you to all of you for so many positive affirmations!!! AllNurses is a great place to be.
  12. I got the F.A. Davis book from barnes and noble but u can get it online cheaper. I got a lot of priority questions and select all that apply.
  13. STUDY!! Doing study questions helped me and ready F.A. Davis NCLEX-PN Notes was worth it. Its to the point and it is helpful
