  8. Having no car for nursing school?

I got through four years of nursing school without a car! It's totally doable. What I did what arranged to carpool with my fellow clinical mates and it was no problem. In fact everyone carpooled really, and pitched in now and then for gas money. Espe...

  10. NCLEX RN mastery vs NCLEX

I used nclex mastery to study for my nclex. I completed the whole app, it was very helpful. The questions are very similar to nclex and in my opinion more challenging. I also would recommend doing the free trial of lippincotts pass point online. It's...

  12. Did I screw myself out of this job??

Thank you all for your replies!! I appreciate it, but I found out today I did not get the job. I know 100% having one duplicate IP address reference was the deciding factor in not hiring me, what a shame. I'm pretty bummed out, but will continue my j...
  13. Pearson trick

You have to click submit to have the trick work. Once you click it the "good pop up" will say it can't have you register again. If it takes your money after you click submit that's the bad pop up. Hope this helps!! Good luck!
  14. skillsurvey and job references

I wouldn't worry! When I set up the skills survey thingy, my references took two days to complete it. I think they are more patient with this form of collecting references, because having someone reply to an email is a lot slower than actually callin...

  16. Are hospitals are hiring new grads in Mass these days? I have heard that the job market has gotten a little better, and this summer is a big one for nurses to retire. Then I keep hearing not many hospitals hire new grads unless you have an 'in' as an...
  17. Hospitals hiring new grads these days?

What about those who have BSN? Has the job market gotten easier for BSN's to work in a hospital as a new grad? I have read some articles saying that a nursing shortage is coming for Summer 2015 due to nurses retiring around that time. I'm trying to g...

  19. The thing that helped me out the most for anatomy was watching YouTube videos on everything. Seriously. YouTube had a video on literally everything dealing with anatomy and explains it with visuals and detail. Try it out, plus it made my studying eas...
  20. Taking Anatomy and Microbiology

Microbiology and anatomy are very similar study-wise. I think you'll do great taking on both of them at the same time. I just took micro and anatomy last semester and it is possible to take them together! Good luck :-)
