  1. I started August 2012 and will finish August 2013. I am in Michigan. Cost in about $6,000. I plan to bridge to the RN program because none of the hospitals around are hiring LPNs but I can't afford to wait 6 years for the program.
  2. I agree with admitting if you don't know something. Our instructor has us find the answer and report it at the debriefing. It was your first day. It will improve. Try to ignore the gossip as much as possible.
  3. I cried the 1st day of my 1st semester. It was SO overwhelming! I also cried the 2nd day of 2nd semester. I had so much go wrong with my day but none with my patient. I am not even stressing over my care plan. It's done. I will hand it in Monday and it will be what it is. I have 10 more pages to read before Monday's lecture. Bring a small notebook that will fit in your pocket to wrote notes on. I have found if your patient is verbal, you can learns a lot from them.
  4. 2nd semester here. I feel we are all helpful except for one that wants us to hand her the answers, plus she works as a CNA where we are on site at AND she gabbed ALL last semester to co-workers. She hit brick wall these last few days. The instructor changed and guess what?? She had to work!! Other than the know it alls, it's been not so cliquey.
  5. I start my 2nd semester this week. I am also in Michigan.
