  1. Does anyone know if there is a FB group for Saint John’s in Santa Monica?
  2. Does anyone have any details about the Float Pool position at Saint John's in Santa Monica? The recruiter mentioned that it covered floating to telemetry, med-surg/tele, and sometimes mother-baby. Any other details regarding Float Pool would be appreciated (even if it's at a different hospital, I'd like to get an idea of what to expect). Also, if anyone has experience working at Saint John's or knows someone who has, I'd love to hear about it. Feel free to message me privately if you feel more comfortable. ?
  3. No. when did you interview? I was told they wouldn’t reach out until after Thanksgiving
  4. Which hospital is this for? My offer was for Mission hospital medical-surgical and the rate was low $40s
  5. Thank you ? It was not! Haha It wasn’t on my top three but they asked me if I was open to it during the interview and I said yes.
  6. You’re very welcome! You are right they did say that, so maybe I also need to be more patient haha. The communication hasn’t been very clear so far though. Best of luck ?
  7. Thank you! I received the email on Monday, November 8th and when I responded to her I received an automated email saying she was out of the office until this Wednesday. It looks like I was assigned to Medical-Surgical Oncology 3 West. If anyone knows anything about this unit or has experience there please let me know ? private messages are okay too! Okay, thank you for the rate information! I hope you hear back soon. Have you tried contacting the recruiter?
  8. Hello! Has anyone who received an offer from Mission Hospital been contacted by phone or have more specific details regarding the offer (I.e. rates)? I received an email stating that an offer was being made, but it’s been a few days, and I haven’t received a response. Thank you ?
  9. Did anyone hear back from 4MN in Santa Monica?
  10. Was anyone also asked to do a talent assessment?
  11. @Dannydgk. yes I got an interview at long beach. I'm still not sure what campus is my first choice, I think overall CSULB is a better school but I need to do more research as to which nursing program is better. What's yours? and ok thanks.
  12. If you guys could choose between CSULB and UCI's nursing program which would you pick and why?
  13. Does anyone know by when they will let us know if we got into the program?
  14. Hey Guys, I also applied to CSULB. I have been waiting on CSULA but have not heard back from them. Does anyone know when the program sends out the admission status to students?
  15. Thank you, it does! :)
  16. How did you guys calculate your points? For the TEAS, do we look at the "adjusted individual score" or the national rank?
  17. Hi everyone! Does anyone know if they are still accepting applications for the BSN program for transfer students?? Thanks!
  18. THANK YOU! I've been wondering the same thing :)
  19. There's still a chance here for you, I've been reading some of the threads and it seems that in the past many people that are waitlisted get in because those who've been accepted later choose not to attend. I'm working on my application for CSULB too. Good luck to us both :) Do you know anyone who's been through the communications exercise?

  22. There's only one exam left and he's only offering the class 8 extra credit points which won't make a huge difference.
  23. Hello Everyone, I am currently taking human physiology at a community college.I also have my LVN license. I am extremely stressed out because the drop date with a "W" is today. I have a B- in the course. I don't know if I should stick with my B or drop with a "W" and retake it next semester to get an A. I am pretty positive I can get an A if i retake it. I am planning on applying to Cal State and UC's like UCLA in California. I don't know which one would make me more competitive. Any input would help alot thanks in advance!
