  1. I graduated in May and just recieved my license last friday and Ive been looking for jobs at the local hospitals and they all say either we are not hiring LPNs or you must have 1-2 yrs experiance and IV cert. I was offered a pool position at a nursing and rehab center but Im not sure if I should take it because I would only have a 3 day orientation and be the only nurse caring for 30 pts. Im not sure what to do, but goodluck with your job search.
  2. I went to a private school in florida and it was $12,000 plus books, supplies and uniforms. It was well worth the cost.
  3. Galen Health Institute In St. Petersburg. Its a 1 yr program they admit in Aug, Nov, Feb and May. You attend classes 5 days a week and it may be hard to work because of long school hrs and they also have a part time night class. I just graduated from there and I feel like I got a great education. Let me know if you have anymore questions about the school. :)
  4. :balloons: CONGRATS! I just found out today I passed the Nclex PN
  5. I dont know if you will get to read this before you take your test tomorrow, but I got 85 questions and almost all of them were priority and teaching. I almost feel like the Saunders book wasnt a big help. At my school we took the Sandra Smith NCLEX assessment and I scored very well on it and when I took I thought I had failed it. I have no idea if I passed or failed I just read a thread saying if you get the minimum your either doing really good or really bad, so now Im feeling very nauseated. Good Luck tomorrow and take your time
  6. I took the NCLEX PN today and got 85 questions. Almost all my questions were priority and teaching. The teaching questions kind of threw me because the answers were not what they taught us in school. Most of my classmates got 85 questions and passed. I just hate the feeling that I dont know how I did. I was valedictorian of my class and Im thinking what are the odds that valedictorian would fail boards. Well I can find out my results on Friday, so its going to be the longest two days of my life!
