Healthcare is NOT a basic human right.
Just say we have socialized medicine in America. I believe we should have a sliding scale on what a person would pay (not just a % of income). For instance, patient #1 works out on a regular basis, watches his diet, and maintains a healthy weight. Patient #2 is morbidly obese, smokes, and is a heart attack waiting to happen. Should both people pay the same percentage? I don't think so.

STARTING FL IPN
I went for my evaluation last week. They didn't ask for any drug test. The cost $550 and the appt lasted about an hour. The doctor did get my weight (which I'm sure that was helpful in his decision). I am to do IOP. Does anyone know how much this will cost?

Recreational THC = now starting IPN!
This question will probably be censored along with all of my other ones. Does anyone know the price for IOP in Jax, FL? Thanks.

HELP...trying to get my licence back after 9 years
I just had my IPN evaluation last week. He was totally inappropriate and didn't listen to a thing I said. He said anyone who has a DUI on their record gets a five year contract with IPN. I feel that he is out of touch. I called IPN and told them about his dirty comments to me. Hopefully, he will be taken off of the list of evaluators. I'm going to another doctor for a second eval.

Anyone ever get their license back after revocation?
I agree that you should see an attorney before you reapply to make sure you have your ducks in a row. There is no reason to bring the attorney to the board meeting with you. I just had my RN license reinstated in FL. The board doesn't want to hear from your attorney. They want to hear from you.

Clinical Site with criminal background
You cannot file for an exemption in FL until your license is active. I have to take an RN refresher course and need an exemption on a conditional license and the board will not do it. I guess I have to do my 80 hours at a non-ahca hospital (non-profit).

HELP...trying to get my licence back after 9 years
I have to follow up with IPN (v6b) for evaluation and tx if needed. After a RN refresher course I will have my license back. I understand IPN gives a list of drs to see for the evaluation. I've also heard that IPN gives everyone a contract regardless of the eval.
