Nursing is the ART of integrating both. A difficult, but often awesome, challenge. Yes, our degrees are in Science, but how well prepared for total patient care were we, fresh out of school? I continue to learn all the time.

I totally relate. I don't know where to start, after being "out of the game" for 7 years. I may have to re-take boards! It would help alleviate some fear, if anyone has experience related to this. Take care.

OK, hope I'm doing this right. Now that I have some clean time, I am considering getting my nursing license back. I have no idea how to go about this. I "failed" IPN (FL) in 2002, -that was my last year of practice as an RN. After surrendering my license, in a fog, it was later revoked. I do not have the courage to start making calls yet, but would like to know if anyone has had a similar situation. If so, what steps did you take?
