CNA is very physically demanding / I would second scoultz and try LPN

Maybe ur being too nice, in a good manner ,but firmly inform them of the tasks u assign . For example instead of saying " Can you please, .... say something like " Hi, Lindsey I'm going to need for you to do ... by and give the time you need to have the task completed.You have your own tasks and MGMT . I'm just a nursing Student ,but I work in an enviroment , where some of my co-workers have 10 or 13 years of experience, but sometimes I'm assigned special projects to lead. I have a great relationship with everyone, but the time of buis. is that .... business:)... and then sometimes there isn't much you can do.... I mean if it gets to the point ... u no longer love ur work enviroment.. and feel the issue is non-existant with MGMT, u may try to go somewhere else... BESt of Luck to u

Thanks , i work 6-3pm shift and my employer has suggested I change my degree to Finance, they can cover my school tuition based on grade A's-100% tuition B's-80% ect. But I can't imagine spending the rest of my life on a field ... where the calling doesn't come from the heart. This is what I want.... I took a CNA course in SoCal just to make sure this is what i want..... and after the externship I was sure

reply thank you All for the encouragement , I was feeling a little blue, But you'll are right /I'm going to remain focus:woot: on MY objective!!! I'm a Cpht and have been volunteering at my local county hospital for over 2 years now, and as a result have increased my knowledge of Dosage calculations/and basic understanding of drugs. However I currently work in the "Finance industry"(higher $$ and convenient hrs /benefits). I guess since, I don't currently work in the medical field , I must be feeling a little unsecured ,lol....But 4 now on... just worried about doing my personal best!!Thanks:cat:

I don't want to sound cliche but, becoming the nurse is and has always been my "Dream". Just like my sister has always had a thing for make up and teaching . I'm finishing my pre-requisites for a BSN and we had introductions in our class ... out of 15 introductions given 8 people on my same class ... are ALL finishing their pre-requistes for Nursing . I know this field is competitive, But actually seeing those statistics is scary ...seems to me like it might be a tough case reaching final outcome to "BE a Nurse". What do you'll think, r u still looking for a job, r u not able to get admited in Nursing programs ? What is your frustration??????

you would probably be passing out meds throughout the shift ... brush up on Dose calculations / top 200 rx drugs/.

//////*** Hi, I made a couple of suggestions to your resume, now may I suggest u write a Functional Resume instead, where you focused more on the skills you have ,and what you can provide to ur new Employer,I would leave out the Chilli's experience, (i know u probably don't want gaps in your employment history, but if you wrote a resume, where you would not have to include that info. I think it would benefit you:) ,I would not input the exact amount of working experience you obtain in each hospital dept(since those hrs are very minimum, I would include the overall hrs of experience 675, and I would mention the different traits you learn in each department. ***Remember the're going to have other resumes out there with more experience than, you... Make yourself stand out, show them what you can bring to the table , they want to know that you are knowledgable at what your doing, I would also, include other computer skills, do you know Microsoft powerpoint,excel,ect. do you speak another language ect., I hope you find my advice useful, BEST Of Luck To you , go get them!!!

NOPE FAMILY comes first in my opinion/ my husband's aunt took ... get this 10years to become a Teacher ( she didn't want a single school loan) and she had 3 kids and a husband... but like she said ... I'm not willing to lose my husband or a full time father to my children for my dreams.. there is always a way to do both as long as you have the motivation and you want something real bad.. it would work out .

I think it doesn't hurt to ask for a raise, you'll be surprised that some employees that aren't that good actually get benefits by asking.. either about pay or shift, if they don't give you the raise, and you are happy with the work environment then ,don't let that bother you, I'm sure you would know went the time comes to look for another facility:) Best of luck to you!
