yeah, contact your recruiters in either facility. my suggestion is to take the RN1F and apply for permanent (A item) after 6 months when you become eligible for that promotion. this means you get benefits, etc. (that was what i did when i worked there) relief is higher pay but honestly, they dont have benefits and im not sure how they go through promotion anyway.

That's awesome RNBSN4 and Sophia432! I hope I get something too, that it's at least on it's way to the east coast... Last time, I never received my letter. I had it resent again and still didn't get it. I really hope I get something! Yay! So happy for you guys. Keep going at it!

This is my second time applying. I had been called to do the civil service exam (oral interview) before, but i was only on the list for 6 months. Shortly after that interview I got a job so I decided to stay in New York for at least a year. Just be mindful that you'd have to go through the process again when your eligibility expires. It's not a matter of "keeping in touch," there IS a time limit. I got a call back when I decided to apply for posted positions again and the recruiter said they couldn't consider me because as of the day before that, I was no longer on the list...

Hey, Sophia432! Took it a little while ago and yes, those three minutes were not enough! It could go either way, because I feel like the personality ones are the bulk of the assessment. Let's hope we can be a match for county!

I uploaded those that I have, but I also included recommendation letters and scans of my certificates, awards, etc. For those that doesn't have a category, I just placed it under "other."

I wasn't offered a job [yet], just the written exam. Hopefully it goes well so I can be on the list. I was on the list last year but was offered a job here in New York and by the time I started applying for a position my eligibility had expired since it had already been 6 months since my oral interview.

r. yusi, was the position you interviewed for the RN I-ER position? i wonder if you got those because ER experience was required. congratulations on the offer!

Sophia432, i am to take the written exam too! i did the study guide assessment and it was so difficult! i think i read in the letter that we would need a calculator too, so im gonna review dosage calculations as well.

i did my initial interview on that day too, XimenaT! have you called to find out if you passed? i was going to, but figured i should a few more weeks... or days! ahhhh... this week, we reached the 4-week mark, am i right? ahhh well, patience, patience... :icon_roll
