I start nursing school on Sept 3 and I can't wait. Orientation is on the 28th and I'm looking forward to all the information I'm about to receive.

I understand the feeling, I took my entrance exam in June and I got my acceptance letter yesterday. I'm so excited and can't wait to start school next month. Just keep yourself busy and think positive. Good Luck!!!

Hello! I actually looked into it at Banner and that is correct. The HR dept said they are no longer hiring ADN only BSN.

I just took my HESI tonight and passed with a 82% :). I recommend you use Quizlet and I also used HESI A2 book. Go in confident and take your time. Good luck!!!!

Hello Everyone! I'm starting my BSN program on Sept 2 and I'm 31 years old. I think this a wonderful thread to keep the 30+ encouraged. I see some of you are doing the Associate degree route. I'm not sure what state your in but I'm in Arizona and most of the hospitals out here are not hiring you if you don't have a bachelors degree. Just a word of advice, look more into the hospitals or clinics of your choice before you make a decision.

@ Jewel5050: I decided to go with Brookline College for my Bachelors and then get my Masters. They have a really good program and its nationally accredited, which is a great thing. The program is only 27 months and I can't wait to get started. How is everything going with you?

Hi! I'm also looking at Chamberlain (Phoenix) and I think it's the right for me as well. I have the same fears you do about the Math, Chem and A&P. Right know I'm studying for the HESI and I'm freaking out because I suck at math. If you don't mind me asking how much is the program where you live? I think we will be fine as long as we good in confident and know this is what we really want... Good luck with everything!!!

Hello Everyone! I have one more class before I can be put on the waiting list for the RN program. This is where my problem comes in. I am currently taking Anatomy/Physiology and I'm failing miserably. So I enrolled myself for next semester along with General Chemistry. Has anyone taken these two classes together or am I taking on to much? I know if I would've put in more effort this semester I would've been fine. I just want to get them out the way and I can apply... together

I will be taking A&P with lab and Math 121. I'm trying to get into Chem but there is no openings. After I finish taking Chem, I can apply for the program. Super excited and ready!!!!
