  1. Hi, I am planning to apply for DNP-FNP program for 2020 fall. Is this a good carrier choice? What is demand and pay raise I can expect? I am in my early 30s. I have been RN for 7 years, currently working in acute care hospital, IMC nurse. I am oncology specialized in BSN. I also have experience as medical case manager, triage nurse and rehab nurse. I completed my MSN in 2017. Please advice.
  2. I am also a foreign nurse i took exam from MD board after 2months of preparation and passed in first attempt, i didnt take any of preparation class just went through focussed self study. saunders and marry ann hogan for content and nclex 4000, kaplan question trainer and exam cram for question practice is what i followed. the theme of my study was corelating whatever i studied and understanding every rational.... just believe in yourself and give your full time to study for some time... you will surely pass goodluck!!
  3. And yes i heartly thank AspiringRN2be, i was inspired by her daily log and i felt her very kind and helpful...
  4. mimiandrews well for content i bought saunders ( to get greater insight i even studied some chapters 3 or 4 times), i also take Mary ann hogans comprehensive review for some topic and for practice question i used exam cram, nclex 4000, kaplan question trainer 1-7, la charity PDA and saunders CD. It took me about 2 months to be prepared and gain confidence to appear in exam. In that time i practice about 6000 questions
  5. my suggestion for the test takers are 1. Practice as much as question you can and the imp thing is make sure you understand all the rationale behind the correct and incorrect answers. 2. Make your base strong: it means you must understand the basic knowledge about the body mechanism, systems medicine and interrelation in between so the the knowledge will be applicable everywhere no matter how much the question is twisted. 3. whenever you learn, make a mental picture, feel and understand it dont simply mock it, in this way the thing will be automatically set in your mind. 4. while studying (book or question practice) whenever you face any new topic search and know about it instantly dont ever ignore or pile to study later on. 5. In real NCLEX-RN test i realized nothing comes exactly the way we practice but the main thing is it is highly based on your analyzing and corelating power.. thankyou everone.. if you seek any advice you all are welcome anytime..
