  1. First time I took the Nclex I failed with 75 Qs also and I had the same feeling that the Qs were high level Qs..I passed the second time with 90 Qs after 2 months of slow progressive studying... You already know what you did wrong dont burn yourself take breaks and reward yourself for every accomplishment you do.. Focus on your week points .. You can do it :)
  2. 5 weeks is plenty of time you just have to be organized, study as much as you can and believe that you can pass .. You can do this just .. Good luck ..
  3. For me Kaplan .. Good luck you can do it :))
  4. I graduated nursing school in 2009 and came to the states to take the Nclex. First time I tried was in 2010 back then I only used Saunders 4th edition and Nclex 4000 I didn't feel ready at all I felt like I was guessing ever question, my computer shut of at 75 Qs and 2 weeks later I found out that I failed. Although I knew it was coming but I was devastated. Years went by and passing the Nclex was was one of my biggest fears but I never gave up! I had so many personal reasons for why I didn't try again until september 2012. This time i was determined to pass and overcoming my fear of the Nclex was one of the hardest things i had to do .This time I also used Saunders which is awesome for the content, Kaplan the online review their Qbank is great I rarely used their decision tree but the questions are very similar to the actual Nclex (read every rational) I also used the famous 35 page guide found on this website and PDA I honestly did like 6 chapters and scored in the 50's but I felt comfortable answering Kaplan's priority Qs so I didn't care. Pharma was my worst nightmare I knew nothing about it up to 2 weeks b4 my test . I only read the cardio and the respiratory pharma chapters from Saunders. Finally after 2 months of studying the big day came and I felt better than the last time but never totally ready. Computer shut of at 96 Qs did the pvt when I got home an there it was the Good pop up! I cried all day !! and sure enough I received the actual results in a couple of weeks I Passsssssed !! I used to read this website daily looking for support and motivational stories. I hope this helps someone somehow :) To all of you taking the Nclex Never give up and never lose hope , you will pass if you put your mind to it. With hard work , and prayers you will become and RN. Cheers
