  1. I agree taking A&P prior micro it helps. Micro is fun but it require a lot memorization and understanding.
  2. I'm terrified. I think I'm pushing beyond my limit. At the same time.I have to finish all this classes my first semester and I can take it over the summer. I have no chemistry background, so am going to take it over the summer time. I want it to be alone no confusion with other topics. I want to be able to understand. If it was your schedule how would you do it? I'm going to Put in my all. I also think I'm going to enjoy all the class except chem. I don't no I'm so confuse. Can you tell. I'm all over the place. But I know one thing. Once January 13 comes. Be a happy pre-nursing student, with a positive attitude and ready to kick pharm, chem butt ect.
  3. We are in the same boat. I just finish taking nutrition, which was a easy A.
  4. That is exactly why I'm looking for the part time job. Currently I'm looking for CNA training. I need to get my experience in, so by the time I'm a nurse I can get a job faster and be a better nurse. I want to work as a CNA also to see if this is what I want to major in.
  5. Thank you, i really appreciated.
  6. I have a daughter that is 6. Currently I'm not working, but am looking for a part time job. I'm very good in science, but really bad in math. What would you advice me. My other option is to take pharmacology, pathophysiology, statistic and some really easy class to be full time. Than take chemistry over the summer time.
  7. Sorry for the bad Grammar apologize.
  8. I'm planning taking pharmacology, statistics, pathophysiology and chemistry lecture and lab.will this be too much to handle. Have any one done this before. I don't want to set myself to failure, since I'm trying to raise my GPA
  9. I loved my microbiology class. It's really interesting, you will never be bored. I recorded my lectures all the time. Once I was home and had a little time. I will listen to the lecture and read over my notes. Make sure you read over your notice everyday. It made it super easy for me. Me and my study buddy were the only people that Got a A. Microbiology just has a lot of notes.
  10. I think you should just apply. Dropping out on 10 or 11 grade doesn't make that much difference I will think. Your in college already and have over 30 credits. I drop out my sophomore year and the school I applied for did not give me no trouble. You can do the changed later once your in the program.
  11. Your so right once your in the hospital all alone no family member all you have is the nurse by your side. Thats when your really see why nurses are very important part of the medical field. I have been and had the greatest nurse by my side. one day I hope to be as great as she was and give my patients that comfort.
  12. What do you guys think of my do you think I will survive. Pharmacology, statistic, chemistry lecture and lab and pathophysiology . I don't know. I want to get done with this. Is this doable?
  13. Thank thank thank you :) so happy to hear this. I was getting really worried. Good luck everybody
  14. Hi everybody, I have a question? I have a GED and everybody scaring me. People keep telling me that because I have a GED and never took sat.Is that going to affect my chance to get into nursing school? My GPA is great. But is it true? Is having a GED going to look bad.
  15. Just use your iPhone recorder. It works great , I use it to record my microbiology lecture. By doing this my microbiology exam grades been beautiful. Something I really recommend. Good luck
  16. Your a genus how did you do that
  17. I really enjoy microbiology. I think it's more interesting than A/P. but the exams I hate it, I will pick A/P over and over. I found my trick for micro. My first exam had 65 1 week studies. After that I have been studying everyday. Second test was 94 third test was 98. It's a everyday study for 1hr at least Good luck everybody. Semester is almost done. I'm getting ready for pharmacology next semester
  18. I will try to slip a note and do what I can. It's just not fair to the student that are really doing the right thing.
  19. I'm so mad i study for weeks for my microbiology test every time and other people are just relaxing because they have all the test answers. Like seriously I want to tell the teacher, but something tells me that it's okay. They won't go far with the cheating in this career path. I don't no. Supper mad
  20. Lol you will have fun taking your prereq. It will go by so fast before you know it, it will be your last semester taking them. I have one more semester to go. Good luck
