  2. Bridging Program in Australia

I received my bridging letter from AHPRA through my email. Do I have to wait for the paper copy of the bridging letter or can I just print the one I received by email and submit this to the BP schools (those which are requiring original or certified ...
  3. Bridging Program in Australia

I called St. Luke's Extension Clinic regarding immunizations and they said they don't provide such services. I don't have any record of my immunizations so I'm guessing I have to have adult vaccinations. These are what I need: dTpa Hep B MMR Varicell...
  4. Hi. I don't think those nurses were exempted solely "because of NCLEX." I believe they worked as RNs in the US for some time, that's why they were registered without completing a program in a BP school. I reviewed my post on August 28[/url] where I c...
  5. Thank you for this warning, @cummulus. I hope you're okay there.
  6. It seems there shouldn't be an issue here if you're going to be enrolled in a BP school anyway. In that case, I wonder why your case officer had to bring up the NCLEX-RN and CGFNS exams? Unless you're being considered for "In-Principle" registrati...
  7. Hi @drummerracer, While waiting for the answers from those more knowledgeable about your concern, I have some questions about your case: If you accomplished the AGOS-40, they are aware that you are an overseas-trained nurse. If you finished BSN her...
  8. Hi @vitug.annie, You paid the full amount of the tuition fee, yet CON hasn't given you a slot? Please give us an update once CON gives you a refund. (I hope they would.) Good luck.
  9. Bridging Program in Australia

I can't find the AHPRA requirements thread.
  10. @sendmethere: actually, I printed the instructions on certifying documents from the AHPRA website and I didn't see that specific example. Now it makes me wonder if I have the updated instructions. I'll have to check the AHPRA site the next time I log...
  11. Hi @sendmethere! What a great idea! Thank you! How about his office's street address? Was it present on either of the receipt or his stamp on your documents?
  12. Ok. I will go back to the Notary Public tomorrow and have him notarize the other pages. I appreciate your answers. Thank you, @chelseaxyrene!
  13. That's good news! :) Follow up: For documents with, for example, 3 pages, the annotation is located only on the third page. The notary public signed his initials on the first 2 pages. Is this what was done to your documents, as well? Sorry if I ask t...
  14. Hi @chelseaxyrene! Thank you. Did the authorized officer print that annotation on the back of the document, too? And AHPRA accepted your notarized documents as valid, correct? I'm thinking of returning to the Notary Public tomorrow to rectify this. I...
  15. Question on having documents notarized I just had my documents certified by a notary public. I showed him a printed copy of AHPRA's instruction on certifying documents. BUT this is what he did. For 1-page documents, he printed on the back of the docu...
  16. I have a registered nurse license in Illinois which I didn't renew. (I didn't practice the profession there.) Does anyone know how to process the request for a Certificate of Registration Status or Certificate of Good Standing from them? I've already...
  17. @ceridwyn: Hello! I know you referred to this as a rumour but if it were true, do you have an idea when this would take effect? Further, do you know when AHPRA and/or NMBA "officers" convene to discuss changes and when these changes are usually imple...

  22. @arenlima: Hi! Thank you for this suggestion. I appreciate it. Good luck with your visa processing! Please keep us updated :)
  23. @pringxoxo: hi! thank you for this link. :)
  24. @aila61: I texted my head nurse this morning and asked him to sign my CV. He said yes. I'll visit the unit. Thank you for this info. (P.S. I sent you a friend request here although I'm not yet allowed to send PMs. Hope you'll accept it. Thanks.)
  25. AHPRA responded to my inquiry by email. I'm not allowed to post the original message verbatim. I'll paraphrase, instead. The AHPRA representative said that they do not require CVs to be signed by employers. It is optional.
