  1. I just took the hesi a2 yesterday. I just studied the evolve study guide and scored a 94% on that section. There were maybe 6-8 words from the study guide on there and it wasn't hard to figure out the definitions for the other words. Most are used in a sentence and then you're supposed to determine the meaning of the word based on how it's used in the sentence.
  2. I took the TEAS V in may 2012 and made a 78.7% on it which was considered advanced academic standing. I had to take all the sections. My school changed the entrance test right after I took the teas. I took the HESI A2 yesterday and scored a 94% total and I took the math (90%), reading comprehension (98%), grammar (94%), and vocabulary (94%) sections. The hesi a2 is a lot easier than the teas especially if you don't have to take the science section. I studied for the teas for a month and studied for the hesi a2 for a week. Good luck on your test!
  3. I will be applying to a BSN program in Jan. 2013 for Fall 2013 and if I get in I will graduate in May 2015.
  4. I already have a Bachelor's degree so I am a 2nd degree seeking student. I have one prereq class to take in Spring 2013. I will be applying to a BSN program in January 2013 to start in Fall 2013. My goals are to graduate with my BSN, work at a hospital for 1-2 years (preferrably NICU, Ped Oncology, Ped Cardiology), then either get my MSN NP or do a BSN-DNP program . I would really like to be a neonatal NP working in a NICU. Specialty area may change once I get into a BSN program and start clinicals but for now that is what I want to do.
  5. I will be taking Chemistry II in the Spring. Application period for my school is from January 4th-February 15th (for Fall 2013).
  6. Will someone please email me the study guide also? The link doesn't work. Thanks!! [email protected]
  7. I already have a bachelor's degree and had most of the prereq's completed except one. So I will be taking Chemistry 2 in Spring 2013 since my school doesn't offer it this fall and then I will be applying for the BSN program for Fall 2013.
  8. I took the TEAS V in May and got a 78.7. Since the national average is a 64 I am hoping that is good enough to get into the BSN program I will be applying to. I don't know the average score of the program but everyone I have talked to said I got a really good score.
