Hi, I made an excel spreadsheet with different programs. 1. They are different programs but have the same application portal. 2. I would ask your HR office and you can also contact a support member for the program. Unfortunately site applications are not currently open but will be later this year. 3. 2020 applications are open now until April 23 4. I wouldn't consolidate. It doesn't affect your chances but requires more leg work on your part getting loan documentations stating which loans were consolidated, were they qualified, etc. Here is the chart I made for my state. Also, check with your state, they may have their own programs like mine (Oregon). I am currently applying for NHSC SUD and regular LRP, Nurse Corps, and Oregon Healthcare Provider Tuition Reimbursement Incentive. You can apply to as many as you want but can only enter one service obligation at a time.

Hi, I am a recent new grad DNP, FNP. I am in the process of relocating to southern Oregon for my first NP job. This is just my personal experience but I very easily had an interview set up before I had even graduated. I had a job offer within one month of graduation. I am very satisfied with my salary however my recommendation to you is making sure you hold out for an adequate salary and don’t just take my first job. I saw positions with annual salaries as low as 85k/yr for a new grad. I accepted a position offering 120k in addition to sign on, moving, and retention bonuses. I don’t feel at all that the market is flooded in Oregon from my experience. The more rural you go the more perks you will have with student loan repayment and incentives. Good luck ?

I just applied and interviewed in February for fall 2015. I don't think you need to be concerned about your GPA, they will take that into consideration and you can also write to any personal challenges you may have faced affecting academia in your essay. I personally think you could benefit by becoming certified as a CNA or volunteering in a hospital. Fo the GRE, I purchased the Kaplan books and used them as study tools. I scored over 300 on the first attempt. I do feel I could have scored drastically better if I had taken a second attempt, but the test is very expensive and daunting. So I had my interview today and I think it went really well. The current students said it could take as long as 6-8 weeks to hear back. They could notify by phone or mail. I really loved the school, campus, and the people! fingers crossed

I finally heard back on the 2nd. I was invited for an interview. Can't wait!

I still have yet to hear back. It seems that only re-applicants or wait-listed people have heard back so far. Does anyone know if they are notifying us by email or postal mail?

Just got the email that I was selected to interview! I am flying in for the interview next week : ) Any advice on the interview for those who have already completed it is greatly appreciated.

I applied by Nov. 1st and received an email in december requesting my fall grades for review. I have not heard back yet about an interview. My GPA is close to a 3.1 and I scored just over 300 on the GRE. I have been working at the VAMC in San Diego Coounty as an LVN for the past 2 years and got all A's in my prerequisites except Chem which was a C.

I received my letter to interview today. I recently moved and had to wait for the delay from mail forwarding. I live in Carlsbad, CA.

I just checked my emails and their titles are TCN liason assistants but they actually do work at the university. And I did not go through the college network.

To Ladyinscrubs, I actually was contacted by Mary from admissions on more than 2 occasions and Joe about completing my application process including my challenge exams. I found it very encouraging that someone from the school, was in constant contact with me about my admission process and which exams and requirements I still needed to meet.

How long does it take to be notified if you were accepted into fall or not? I applied and am waiting anxiously.

I made the June 1st deadline and am waiting to her back if I was accepted or not. Do you know how long it usually takes, I'm really anxious checking the mail every day, lol.
