Salary for home healthcare nursing
I'm a new grad with only an AAS, no BSN, no experience, and I just got hired on a pediatric home care agency at about $23/hour here in AZ. Just figured I'd chime in and let you know HH Nursing often doesn't pay much because of the Medicaid issue like mentioned above. Hang in there guys and take what you can get. It's better than nothing and the experience is KEY. IT'S SUCH A TOIGH MARKET, Unfortunately us new grads cannot be picky. I think the $16 /hr is crap, but do what you gotta do.

My NCLEX - for what it's worth
I took and passed my first NCLEX back in January so I just wanted to second everything OP already said and tell you all good luck and study hard. Remember there's no way you can cover everything. So do your best and you should be fine. My school in particular had a 100% pass rate first time for the last 3 graduating classes so that gave us confidence but it also stressed us out a lot. Study hard (don't kill yourself studying) get plenty of sleep, and eat well. The Pearson vue trick does work so don't doubt it! Mine shut off at 75 questions and I swore I failed. I did not feel competent but apparently I was. So even after you take it, don't freak out just relax and be patient! Good luck to you all!!'

will a titanium watch stop me from getting wrist rash?
I know you don't want to spend a ton. But take it from me this watch does it all and it's only $45 and it should last at least 4-5 years or so. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000GAYQLI/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1339014360&sr=8-1 I like the second counting feature. It makes timing pushes And infusions easy.

will a titanium watch stop me from getting wrist rash?
My two cents. Go to amazon and buy a Casio G-shock. Perhaps the material won't bother your wrist. Either way. I've had mine for years. It is a TANK. Or course it's water and shock proof

What will you do?
I agree with the consensus on here. I understand your anxiety but there's not much you can do, other than what was ordered and what is technically safe because you have no other concrete info to prove otherwise. I'd definitely keep an eye on them after admin and I wouldnt rush discharge but to be even safer you could document your teaching on having the pt watch out for specific adverse reactions.
