I also want to say thank you for taking the time out to teaching us right from wrong what to do and what not to do when the state is around. I have had some awesome nurses train me in clinical's what a wonderful experience I have had. Thank you! ?

I know of two new LPN's that started with $20 an hour at a LTC facility and one with $25 an hour home health in West Palm Beach, FL. Well That's what they said the pay was.

My clinical instructor said it worth the $$..her daughter failed her NCLEX RN and she purchased the Kaplan review for her and she passed and is now an RN..I have asked all my instructors and the have said the same thing it's worth it. Good Luck!! Keep us informed!

Sorry, I'm drowning!! Lol!! Lets start over..I'm currently an LPN student and I need some help with some successful study skills..my instructors tell us that in order to be successful we must read the chapters..So, I have started to read the chapters page by page and three hours later I finally finish and i have a good comprehension of the material but then when it comes to testing which are like NCLEX test questions I fail.. and so does most of my class..it seems like the test questions are more nursing interventions in which are preparing us for the real deal.. How can I over come this dilemma..I need to be successful please help. Thanks in advance! ?

Hello!! I am new to the site and so far I love it. There are so many questions I have about nursing school and I have found many of the answers just by reading the blogs. I am 36 yrs old with no kids. I currently work part time. My question is can a nursing student work and still be successful in school! I am aware it is a challenge.
