Targa, just curious as to why you decided to pursue nursing. I spent two yeas in law school before realizing it wasn't for me, and deciding to become a psych NP instead. Forensics is appealing to me on an intellectual level, but my first interest is working with the chronically mentally ill.
I'm about to start a three-year program leading to the psych NP degree, and I know that, here in Maine, there is quite a demand for them. There is an especially high demand for child and adolescent specialists. Salary-wise, I know of one agency that pays around $80K to start.
