My PCT program was 7 weeks long and honestly that is not enough time. I can tell you if you can get into a program that is longer than 10-weeks take it. My days consisted of going to class from 12-3:30 every day and then come home and read for approximately 3-4 hrs. Wake up 5:00am and do the study questions until time for class. We only did two lab each in EKG and Phlebotomy, due to lack of time. Although I found the topics interesting, with the short period of time, the instructor did not have the time to go indepth; so you basically on your own. I pass the PCT exam, only because I decided to dedicate the 7 weeks to nothing else but that, but it was very stressful. If you can, do yourself a favor and find a longer program, go for it.
