  1. I got in too! BSN-MSN, AGANP/FNP Good Luck everyone
  2. Oh I see! I didn’t get in either but good luck to everyone!!
  3. Did it say rejected? How do You know you were rejected
  4. I also did not send an email. I just received one from Ken Ziegler. It did not sound like he was directly related to the admissions committed so I doubt it means anything if some received one and some didn’t. Good Luck everyone
  5. I believe they will reach out to everyone
  6. Just received an email saying we may hear back sometime next week.
  7. Nothing yet over here either! But no news is good news right now! Fingers crossed we here something soon
  8. I also applied for Spring 2021. I am from Georgia but traveling in L.A.! Good luck to everyone!!
  9. I am so glad you posed this question. I felt like I was reading right into my own bio and my very own delimmas. I have been waitlisted at Valdosta State 3 times and been rejected from 3 other schools. I did not quite apply to 12 but I am feeling more like I will never make it, I am not going to give up though. I also have a B.S. in CJ and I messed up more towards my third year in school. I however made a committment to make an A in every course I took after that and I succeeded except last semester I made 2 B's and I UNFORTUNATELY made a C in Pathophysiology. I took it online which I will admit was slightly more difficult than I thought it would be, HENCE, the C. I did not do as well on the TEAS that I would have liked, but I have heard my score was not bad. So I think I can retake them now for this round of applications. Anyway enough about me. Have you tried Georgia Southwestern? I heard they virtually accept everyone and then start to weed out those that can't survive, plus they also have an accelerated program for second degree students. Good luck in your search and if you find anything please come back and let us that are in the same boat know.
  10. I have been searching and searching this site for any information on Georgia College State and University in Milledgville, Georgia. I want to apply for their Spring 2012 program and I don't have the greatest GPA nor the greatest TEAS, but any information about admissions and the program would be helpful.
  11. Placed on the waitlist for the Fall 2011 track. I just can't catch a break. I mean my GPA sucks because I was really going through somethings for awhile and my TEAS scores aren't the greatest (74) but I have worked extremely hard to pull my GPA back up post bacclaureate (spelling could be very wrong) and I just need a chance to prove myself. I am almost 30 and I feel like I am racing against the clock or something. I am going to try Georgia College State and University next but I am getting very discouraged.
  12. Has anyone on the seat available list been called for May 2011? I haven't heard anything and was just wondering if anyone else had
  13. I was also placed on a seat available list. I then applied for the traditional track even though I really want to do the accelerated track. I hope some people decide not to go. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted.
  14. No judgement please but I am such a bonehead. I took the statement put all transcripts in one envelope LITERALLY. I opened them all and put them in one envelope. I was reading a different application that says don't open them. I reordered them but they wont make it before monday..have I messed up for the 2011 etp program or can transcripts be sent after the deadline? I feel like such an idiot
  15. Thank you cartwheel, I am terrible procrastinator myself so I have not started my personal statement yet, but I have been thinking of ideas. Good job on getting your rough draft completed and Good luck to you
  16. amalay, i would hang in there with the references. i found two so far, i asked my manager and i also asked one of my teachers from last semester. i lack experience in the medical field as well. i mean i got my degree in criminal justice and i work in hospitality. i volunteered one summer with the american red cross and i just applied at my local hospital to start volunteer work there. i wouldn't think not having experience would eliminate you from the program. right now i am focusing on getting a's in my pre reqs which i already messed up on because i got a b in micro but a b is not so bad and i am focusing on doing well on my gre's which i must say the test prep is kicking my butt. i can't remember how to solve word problems or percentages and i am just miserable right now. i am also going to work hard on writing a really good personal statement, if only i could find the words. but all i can do is put my best foot forward and i would suggest the same to you. i mean all you can give is your best so make sure you are giving it all you got. i mean the worst that could happen is they say no and if that happens you just try again. i hope this helps. and the best of luck to you
  17. I am looking to apply for the ETP Anesthesia program. I am worried because apparently this program is very competitive. I have a few more prereqs to take but will be finished in the Spring. Which reminds me does anyone know where you can take Organic Chemistry and Physics online in an accelerated environment?
  18. Is anyone else stressing over the personal statement and resume or CV? I just don't know how to articulate why I want to be a Nurse and go to Columbia. I mean I haven't got a clue what to write or even how to begin. I am sure I am over thinking it, but I know this is a very important section. Also does anyone know about the Organic Chemistry and Physics requirements to do the CRNA program? All it said was that I had to have two Chemistry's one of which needs to be Organic. So Organic is broken down into two parts and so is Physics do I have to take both parts. I know this sounds stupid but I was just wondering.
  19. Hello All, I am also interested in Columbia's ETP 2011. I have absolutely been stressing about it. I have my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and I just finished with Micro and A&P. I was striving for a A in both but I ended up with a B . I really needed an A because I had a period in my life when I wasn't sure about life and what I wanted to do and I majorly fumbled some classes so my Undergrad GPA is not the greatest. I am striving on doing well on the GRE and in my last couple of prereqs. I want to do the Nurse Anesthesia program. I heard it is really difficult to get into that program, but I am hoping. I haven't really looked into any other schools. I guess I should start and not put all my eggs in one basket, because I would be crushed if I didn't get in and I did prepare for something else. I am just beyod stressed right now. Well enough rambling...GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
