  1. With my nationality, and in the US, I guess so
  2. Thanks for the reply. Actually I'm not sure how they contacted me  I mean, I was just dishing out my resume on line one night and then the following day I got a mail from them, so maybe they are one of those that I've sent my CV. anyhow, they are offering to help me land a job in the US, btw, I am a Filipino Nurse working in Saudi Arabia, and they will also assist me in taking up CGFNS and NCLEX, they will also provide all the expenses for my travel to the US and will work for my immigration visa, the only catch is that 4000 USD bond that they are asking. So I guess I'm better off to take all the needed exams first by my self rather than go through with this huh. Thanks again :) Aries
  3. Please, anyone
  4. hi guys i would just want to ask anyone who can tell me if this company is a good company or a bogous one crescent healthcare management & operations 67 wall street 22nd floor, nwe york, ny 10005 usa i received an email from the said company offering me some help to land a job in the us and assisting me as well to take up my nclex, it sure is a tempting offer, but they are asking for a 4000 usd bond, and i'm kindda hessitant to let go of that amount without doing some investigation first. please can anyone confirm this for me. thanks aries
  5. but how about if you have an arrest before the paramedics come's in???? won't you even try to do CPR?? How about if the patient does not have a DNR form??? Isn't it illegal??

hee hee hee thanks a bunch, I too am not that organized and I'm a real dummy when it comes to PC things hee hee hee, hey how about an info on Acer laptops, are they ok to use, it seems the only thing that I can afford here in my place now, btw I'm currently in Riyadh now. Thanks misty :)
  7. uh huh, I see, sorry for my ignorance cause I really have limited or no idea of what an LTC is, is it the same as a home for the aged or something like that? so having your patients there, they are literally same as patients who are DNR, is the right? Please enlighten me and again sorry for my ignorance
  8. I've been a med/surg nurse for 2 years, then I worked for 1 year in ER after that I've work in primary care for 3 years and now I'm back in ER. I think working first in med/surg will strenghten you up as a nurse while working in primarycare, gives you a knowhow of patients that came in ED for nothing hee hee hee know what I'm saying, at least you can provide health teachings blah blah blah and how they can dessiminate that info in their community

do you guy recommend having a laptop for us nurses, I mean, I am seriously considering to buy one, cause tons and tons of papers are on my desk and cabinets and if I need a certain thing to review, I have to plough through hell and back. but I am also afraid of digitizing my files cause it may be corrupted and just vanish in thin air without me knowing what happened.
  10. I'm totally clueless about this one
  11. Really!!! I never imagined any health institution who will not initiatate CPR, I mean, I may be wrong, but isn;t it a MUST to at least try to save a life? CODE ok, maybe not all institutions can run it cause of lack of this and that, but simple CPR?????
  12. Hi guys, sorry in advance, but may I derail a bit. Can anyone please tell me what is LTC?
  13. Yes PLEASE if you don't mind :)
  14. Hi there!! If you don't mind, can you please elaborate on those stages of wound that you stated. thanks
  15. Well, what's my story? I never really wanted to ba a nurse, not before and not even now, I grew up in Cavite, south of Manila in the Philippines and back in 93 all my friends are out of school, I enrolled in one of the Universities in Manila but ended up envying the leisure time that my friends have and decided to quit my engineering course which brought my family into an uproar he he he. Anyway, in 94, I told myself that I wanted to finish a degree but not away from my friends, so I decided to enroll in a college in Cavite, unfortunately, or may I say FORTUNATELY, only the Nursing Course was the best option or offer that they could give me, hence, I ended up being a nurse, kindda regretted it though before but now I certainly am thankfull for it, I met my lovely wife during my nursing school days
