  1. Hey! I also applied for Fall 2020 and received an email inviting me for an interview. Have you heard anything yet?
  2. Hey who else has applied for the Texas State PMHNP program for fall 2020? I just got an email inviting me to interview (virtually) and couldn't find an existing thread for this class. Hoping to get in touch with fellow applicants!
  3. Hey guys, I just graduated in December and am donating 3 pairs of scrubs to anyone who needs them! They are all size Small, tops and bottoms. Let me know if you or a friend want some free scrubs with the ACC patch already on. I also have a lab coat available with patch.
  4. If done correctly after 24 hours, I have not heard of anyone getting the good pop up and then failing. I've read many, many comments and some will argue that it's not reliable, they heard of someone that something bad happened to, etc...but in reality, I think you passed. It seems the PVT rarely does not work and of those few instances, usually it's people getting the bad pop up but passing in the end. Does your state not offer quick result after 48 hours?
  5. I did indeed pass!! RN So, in my case, PVT worked
  6. I took the NCLEX yesterday, 2/23/16 at 0800. I had around 150 questions and finished just under 2hr. I was sure I failed! Felt like I wasn't sure about most of the questions, had SO many SATA and prioritization questions. Once I got home I tried to wait for the quick results, but only made it two hours before attempting the PVT trick ha...I got the good pop up. I was totally skeptical still though, knowing that it's most accurate after 24 hr and even then might not be for sure. But it gave me a glimmer of hope and I was able to relax and sleep that night. Just checked again today and still have the good pop up. I will let yall know tomorrow when I get the official results if I did actually pass. Oh and FYI, I used my CC number with the wrong expiration date and security code to avoid being charged. You have to hit 'submit'.
  7. I am going to finish all my prereqs this fall (2012) and apply for the fall 2013 program. From everything I have read online, it seems that there is a shortage of professors and this is why so few students are admitted. Can this be expected to change? I find it kind of ridiculous that even with a perfect score of 56, many students are not being accepted their first time due to the huge number of reapplicants. Since I am not going to be accepted the first time (my predicted score is 53.5), would it be worth it to retake classes to get a higher rank? I realize it would help, but if I do not retake any courses my score will be a 58.5 upon reapplying. Is this a high enough rank? I am planning on taking additional classes while I wait in hopes of completed the bridge program at UT. Online it says a 3.0 GPA, but is this a 3.0 in the nursing program or for the additional prereqs or what? I have many of the bridge courses already completed from dual credit highschool program, would these count? Has anyone completed this program or is currently in it?
