  1. I'm in the same boat as you. I have applied a few places and have almost the same cv as you. We should talk.
  2. Any update on your status yet? I was thinking of applying there myself.
  3. That place is harder to get into than a Justin Bieber concert.
  4. Good luck. I hear good things about Maimo. I might apply there myself.
  5. So as fate would have it, my spouse matched for a medical residency in New York. So, like the Clampets, we are packing up and moving. The hospital has given us housing, for which I'm grateful, but I am still going to need to find a job could use some advice. What if anything does anyone know about the VA in Brooklyn? I've been checking their website and it never seems to have any openings. Is there an agency that supplies them with per diem nurses? Only reason I ask is because its close to where we will live. Otherwise, whats it like for the commute to NYC. I was looking at jobs at NYU and Mount Sinai. Any staffers with advice? I'm a BSN with 3 years of solid med/surg surg/onc experience. I'm coming from a magnet hospital and really enjoy the culture. Regular per diem work would be great considering I don't need benefits but am open to anything. Also, I've always been interested in the ED. Would this be a good time to try that out? Thanks
  6. Yeah- I'd like to hear the answers to this as well. I've seen a ton of per deim jobs posting and was wondering what it was like there.
