some of the changes they made since may 2013 , regarding english proficiency exam and Local License BEFORE MAY 2013 AFTER MAY 2013

They made changes last may 2013 , They also implement English proficiency exam for those who endorse their license in nevada... usually they waived that requirement before may 2013

I talked to one of the analyst and told me to put that you really want to work in Nevada,

Since may 2013 also they are requiring those rn who applied for reciprocity to take english proficiency exam... Before they are just waiving the english exam when you just apply for reciprocity/ endorsement

Heres an update regarding my reciprocity on nevada...they just need a written explanation why i do t have a license in the philippines... And if the letter is valid they will waived the local license requirement.,,

thanks for the info steppybay, i think the only frustration i had right now is the english proficiency exam... i dont want to spend a lot of effort and money because of that... do u know any other states that are not strict regarding reciprocity / endorsement ? thanks

Hi Allnurses peeps iam jhon , i graduated last 2010 with a BSN DEGREE in the Philippines and apply here in california for rn exam, unfortunately got denied, and took the exam last Feb 27 , 2013 and passed my Rn Exam in Hawaii , Endorsed it to nevada, they issued me temporary license but they need some additional requirements like Local License in the Philippines Summary of R.L.E English Proficiency Exam - i dont know why because its just an endorsement but they told me that i graduated almost 2 years so they need my english proficiency exam.. is there anyone here having the same problem as mine?

did someone apply in the state of hawaii then try to endorse their license on nevada?

we have 3 days of duty in a week so its is equivalent into 24 hours plus the number of weeks in a month 24 x 4 = 96 hours in one month if your rotation last for just a month... but it depends

i called BVNPT last week to ask if they already got my documents that i send last month , and they already received it. they told me to call them 4-6 weeks from now because they still evaluating some applicants from june 28 , 2012 , so i asked them regarding DECLARATION OF NURSING EDUCATION.. they told me that they will send it to me after they evaluated my application, and i need to wait 4-6 weeks again, i asked them if they can mail it to me even though they are not yet evaluating my documents, for me not to wait for another 4-6 weeks . and the answer? is YES... so when i got the form from them i filled up the necessary information that they needed, luckily i have with me the copy of my CLINICAL ROTATION so i am able to put all the info's regarding my CLINICALS .. hopefully i will go smooth..

Guys i have some questions about declaration of nursing education..i did not tell the board of registered nursing to endorse my documents to BVNPT but what i did is just send them all of the requirements they need like record of nursing education , sealed transcript of record , diploma etc my concern is will they also send me the declaration of nursing program like you guys received or i will automatically receiving eligibility ?? thanks
