University of Washington DNP 2020
Hi there! I emailed advising at the beginning of June, and this was the response of I received: "You are welcome to register for your classes when registration opens for your period on June 22nd. Be sure to refer to the 2020 curriculum grid for your track when selecting your courses. You may find curriculum grids here: https://students.nursing.uw.edu/progression/courses-registration/#grids." I successfully registered for classes using the MyPlan tool on 6/22. Hope this helps!

University of Washington DNP 2020
I took a statistics last year at Seattle Central, and it was a breeze! All content was situated online with one day a week class sessions to practice problems as a group. I thought the format was excellent and in-person class time was efficient for my learning. My instructor was Margaret Patterson.

In regards to how the interview portion is scored; when I attended an in-person session for my specific track (PNP) the graduate admissions coordinator informed us that no applicant would be rejected based upon interview performance (she added unless there was something truly alarming in our responses, haha). She said the interview is simply an opportunity for faculty to see your face, and and humanize your application and the writing portion is to verify that your essays are your own work.

Seattle new grad
Hi there, Both Swedish and UW have new grad residency programs that start several times throughout the year. Typically, the application will open many months prior to the start date. I'd recommend scanning the career sections of both hospitals frequently! Seattle Children's Hospital occasionally has new grad openings as well. Not sure about the other hospitals. Hope this helps!

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
I wanted to bump this thread a bit, and also give a big thank you to everyone for sharing such insightful posts! I, like the OP, am quite eager to hear what the day-to-day role of an NNP comprises. It's nice to read firsthand accounts from those in the field.
- Has anyone applied to University of Southern Maine as a transfer student?

Seattle University BSN (Transfer) Applicants 2014
Hey everyone! I was accepted into the 2015 cohort. I was curious what the SU financial aid package was like you received? Did anyone have to take out private loans, or were there sufficient federal loans given? Money is a huge factor in my decision to attend. Cheers!
