  1. When the girls would come during clinicals at my job they took breaks with cna when they were there for that part and then no break when the shadowed nurse. A lot of them were smokers and whined :/
  2. Looked today there is nothing in grading policy that states that they drop anything after decimal all it says is they don't round up! So that's why I was confused about my grades because all my scantrons have decimal 92.5 90.8 and so on but they go on black board as 92 and 90 and nothing on grading policy said that. If this was money for a job you'd be mad then right?? It'd be like them keeping 90 cents out of check for no reason! I just want all my points posted.
  3. No I got 91 and 93 but I would have had a 95 instead of 93 which is an A I was upset because of that the 91 would have been higher but not as close to A :/
  4. My instructor told me she wasn't giving me anything I kept saying all I'm asking is you not drop off the points I EARNED not asking to be given any :/
  5. Ok say you take 20 tests and all tests you miss out on 0.2 points that's 4 points that you did earn that's just dropped off for what reason? It's like why can't you just enter it as it comes on scantron!!!
  6. Like when you make a 89.9 what does your instructor actually give you? Our instructor drops of any thing after decimal really aggravates me because that's my grade thats what I made not really fair to take off that .9 and .6 :/ it does add up!
  7. Took my best friends mom 7 years to get BSN but she did it slow and had an awesome GPA for masters school fast isn't always best :)
  8. I feel you on that messed up GPA was no where close to prepared for my first year but I took year off and got over half my bsn pre classes done in lpn school now because I am needing to have a better job and couldn't wait 3 more years!! Best of luck take it slow and steady
  9. You can get permit after rn school before nclex
  10. My judge excused me from jury duty. I promised him I would serve but not during school lol!!
  11. I am in a 10 month LPN and god knows how hard it is already but rn school here is harder to get into and requires a lot of classes either for adn or bsn and in my money situation I couldn't risk taking all those classes to not get in and be stuck so I took a & p 1 & 2 as recommend by my advisor my lpn program had no pre classes just had to score above 50 on teas V in every catergory I made 75 overall I say it's all about your situation I want my masters and I'm starting from the very bottom Home health aide first then CNA and now in LPN school you do what is best for you!
  12. I've got two teens one toddler one infant and me and hubby all eating off 190$ a month in food stamps no shame here me and hubby are in school doing what we can to improve our life we aren't just bums I intend to create scholarship for students like me one day!
  13. Wow that's crazy we had a girl where I worked get fired for neglect and 1 year later was there doing her LPN clinicals :/
  14. Took a & p 1 & 2 online and it was so hard probably 10x harder yes you have book for tests but it's timed and you don't have time to look up answers and they weren't multiple choice like they were for students on campus I had C in 1 and B in 2
  15. Well I got 75 and when I went for my nursing interview she told me she didn't need to ask me anything apparently I scored highest out of 48 people that took it and the next below me was 60 I was like dang to me it wasn't hard at all.
