  4. I am currently doing this as we type lol I work fri-sun nights 7p-7:30 a and then I'm off to school Monday morning it is hard but I know the benefits I will gain in the end ! during the week I study my butt off and I wake up an hour or 2 before my on the weekends and then study some more it can be done. I have managed to keep a high B low A average during my first term for school. I balance work school and being a mom :) You can do it!! :)
  5. I applied for my job as a PCT in September of last year and they called me in March for an interview! I had forgotten all about the application and position but I received the job after my second interview. I'm not sure why it took so long but I'm still grateful they gave me a chance :) Good luck to you!
  6. You need to have a drivers license for home health because 1. You have to drive to the clients house and 2.on occasion you may take a client to the grocery store or pharmacy as errand and you need to be insured of course. Don't lie on your resume you never know when a company will actually check into your experience and when they find out you lied you definitely won't get hired. Don't give up hope though,I was in your spot at one time it's extremely frustrating but don't give up!!! *HUGS* Good luck to you!!

  12. Home health agencies are often excellent about working with your schedule, the hours are very flexible good luck!
  13. It's little 2 paragraph passages and they ask you what it's about really basic and easy
  14. Yes it feels awesome! Lol now I can't wait to start class and finally start on my journey to becoming a midwife :)
  15. Thanks! I spent about a week studying and looking over the study guide,on my particular test I had quite a few ratio questions on the math portion so look over those and make sure when you do critical thinking read it all the way through and think on it a few girls in my class scored low because they didn't read all of the information provided.
  16. I bought the Hesi Study guide from the school and went over that pretty much everyday I thought the math would be more difficult but it was kind of easy
  17. Thanks so much!!!
  18. It wasn't as bad as I thought lol I scored 95 and up on all of the parts I took and 840 on critical thinking is that pretty good for that section? Either way I'm happy I'm on way to begin nursing classes :)
  19. Thanks for responding! I'm excited to start class! How much did you study? Did you work at all?
  20. Hello All,I'm brand new to this site as far as participating I've been a silent reader for a while lol I couldn't find any forums on fortis college in Centerville.I wanted to know if anybody has attended their LPN program and how did you like it? Everybody says their not accredited but I went on the Ohio Board Of Nursing website and it says they are fully accredited not on provisional just wondering what the confusion is there. I want to make the right decision as far as school goes so any and all input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)
