  1. Thank you for the direct answer HDnurse88!
  2. Thanks for the reply silverdragon! I Have read the information on their website but I did not see any specific instruction for “endorsement” in regards to international educated nurses. They do state CGFNS and an English exam is required for applying for license by “examination”. I just wonder if that holds true with endorsement as well. thank you
  3. I just wanted to clarify. So IEN does not need to pass an English proficiency test for endorsement to NJ? Just the CGFNS CES? Thank you.
  4. Nice! Glad you found a program. Keep us updated. Still looking around in the San Diego area
  5. so did you find a school that will accept you for the 30 unit option?
  6. So my wife did not complete her final year of college for her BSN. I was wondering if anyone/knows of somebody who became an LVN in California via Method #3 - Equivalent Education with just 3 years of BSN under their belt?. TIA
  7. waiting an for an update as well ?
  8. I am in the same boat. I've seen 2 audio file on soundcloud but was wondering of those were the coveted Klimek audios.
  9. Congrats! can you please email me the Mark Klimeks audio lectures? [email protected] Thank you!
  10. Thanks for the reply, I am apply for Hawaii and I don't think the state requires a local license. I was just worried that it might delay the CGFNS process if I did not submit the License Verification form. Is it common practice to ask for a waiver from the BON state if it is not required? I hear a letter with your application explaining the reason for not having a local license will suffice but the threads I read was years old. Not so sure about now. Anyone go through CGFNS CES recently and did not have a local license? Did you just have to write a letter explaining why and not bother sending the license verification form? CGFNS did ask if I did have a license on my application but I stated I did not. But still require the license verification form to be filled out. Thanks for the help!
  11. I tried searching but i did not find a direct answer. I just had a quick question about CFGNS process for CES. I do not have a local license from my country. Would it be ok if i not submit the Request for Validation of License/Registration/ Diploma since i do not obtain a local license? I'm sure someone has been in the same situation and would appreciate some guidance. Thanks!
  12. DO you need a local license from the Philippines to challenge the NCLEX is Neveda?
  13. Any updates on obtaining a license in Arizona? Are they in fact enforcing these concurrency issues like CA?
  14. Hey Maria, I too graduated in the PI year 2011 and was planning to apply to AZ. Please keep everyone updated. Thank!
  15. I was wondering if anyone with the same response from the BRN has any info about this matter? I see more schools are slowly opening slots for MS and OB but i am just clueless. "Once you have completed an approved program, you will need to reapply to the board" Does this mean they have abandoned my application and that i would have to reapply? -___- so lost
  16. I also got denied and received a letter stating i have to go back to school but it didn't give me any specific subjects to complete. From what i got in the letter, It all depends on the school. So It could just be 1 or a few subjects.
  17. hey mjhay. the same exact thing happened to me. have you got everything straightened out? did you finally get your att?
  18. anyone have any updates on their LVN application?
  19. I sent my LVN application a month ago and now seeing this makes me a little worried. It feels like my window of opportunity is getting smaller and smaller in cali. =/ well, at least people are not getting denied like our RN applications but its always those extra documents that makes it a hassle. I haven't received the declaration letter yet but i know its coming. Please keep everyone updated with this situation. I know this thread will help a lot of us out =) Good luck to all of us!
  20. Yup i took nstp 1-2 but didnt take the NLE. If you're only a us citizen i believe they would ask for a foreign fee. It is your choice.
  21. sorry californiagrown but i cant send PM's yet
  22. What's up guys? i too am thinking about applying for Nevada. I just wanted to clarify if the Nevada BON requires us to have a local license from the PI. Thanks!
  23. Philippines does have their theory and clinicals at the same time. Its just that the " 25 cases" are not completed at that time. We are still exposed to the clinical side of the theory taught in the classroom. I was wondering if US educated nurses have to complete any "cases" like how the Philippine curriculum does? (The 5 minor, 5 major. etc..)
  24. Does anyone know for sure if Grossmont College is entertaining our special situation? I wish they would since im around the area =). Has Anyone successfully enrolled to any school for those subjects needed for BRN?
