  1. Yes Please I would Love More information! If you would give me your email address, or better yet, here is mine! "[email protected]". I'm sorry, I am just really excited that I found someone that can actually tell me about the program! I have been looking around, and I couldn't really find any reviews on the program! I really appreciate it!
  2. Thats wonderful! Can u answer a few questions for me? 1. How hard was it to get in? (teas score, GPA) 2. What is your schedule like? 3. What is the program like? 4. How are the instructors? 5. What are you clinical like? 6. What was your Chemistry Pre-Req 7. What is your uniform like? And any other information you might think I want to know! Thanks so much
  3. Hi I have been thinking about applying to GA southern Nursing Program. I just wanted to know if anyone had any experiences with their program, and what they look for as far as entrance test, NCLEX pass rate and all that. Also, highly is the program rated? any other information will help. Thanks :)
  4. Hello, I am on my second semester of my pre reqs and am looking at nusing schools. So far my choices are: 1. Georgia Southern 2. Georgia State 3. Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer Univ. I really want to know some about Georgia Southern. If you can help me please let me know!
  5. I am currently taking College Algebra for my Pre Nursing Major. Its hard, but not the HARDEST thing in the world, and I also have to take Statistics after this. so I had a few questions. 1. Do you use college algebra daily as a nurse? 2. Do you use stats as a nurse? 3. Can I have a senario of where math would be used? 4. Whats the hardest math that you have to do as a nurse on a daily basic
  6. I am a 2nd semester Pre Nursing student and I am having trouble with College Algebra(Math has never been my strong point). I wanted to know how much math is really used by a nurse on a daily basis and up to what math did you take it college? Any other information would be helpful, thank :)
  7. I decided to go into nursing for several reasons. First off, I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field. At first i was going to be a Vet and then I thought I was going to be a pediatrician. Up until a few weeks ago, I was on the Pre Med path, but the reason I changed was because Math is not my strongest subject, and I wanted to have more time for my "own" life outside of work. If I am a doctor, I would be on call all the time, I wouldnt have time to really get to know my patients and I would be stressed all the time. so in a way, i would say my urge for wanting to help people
  8. What exactly is your question? I dont really understand? If you want to know who to go to, go to the Chair of the nursing program. If you dont want to talk to her/him face to face, email, or call. Just ask if they have a Pharmacology class, and if not ask why. Simple as that, no need to be scared :) *I am a Pre-Nursing Student also* that was doing biology at first for Pre Med, then changed to nursing
  9. Most nursing programs require a 3.0, so i think that you will be fine :)
  10. I think that you should just go on and do BSN I am a nursing student also. When you get your associates, you job opportunities are limited and so is pay. When you have your BSN you are more likely to have more job opportunities and better pay. You already in school so might as well do a couple more years, instead of cutting it short. I had the same question a while back and a nurse told me that when you only get your associates you will eventually run out of options for what you can do, and most places want someone with at least at BSN. This is just my opinion. GOOD LUCK!
  11. I am in my 1st year of college and came in wanting to be a Pediatrician. Then I realized that I really dont want to be in school for that long, and i that I am not that good at math. I know that I still want to work in the medical field, so i decided that I would be a nurse (RN). I have already started on my Pre-Requesites and I am doing pretty well. I am working really hard at my math and staying on task. I just had a few questions for anyone thats also Pre-Nursing, or any students in Nursing school, or even already established nursing, so if you could answer any or all of these question, It would be greatly appreciated: 1. How hard was TEAS, and what was covered? 2. How much math do you really need as a nurse? 3. What is the hardest class you have taken? 4. What is the hardest part of your work day? 5. Does Nursing have good pay? 6. What are your study habits for remebering material covered in classes? 7. Most challenging part of getting into nursing school? 8. What is a typical day like as a nurse? 9. Is it hard to work full time and be a nursing student? 10. How long did it take for you to become a nurse? 11. Up to what math did you have to take? 12. Perks of being an RN as opposed to a LPN or NA Any other tips, comments, advice, would be GREATLY appreciated :)
