Yes, Nevada will ask for your Philippine Nursing License if you apply for the exam or endorse your license. They asked me when i endorsed my LVN and RN licenses recently.

Hi! Does anyone know here of any progress or changes in the CA BRN new requirements? ugh! it's so stressful. I've heard and read a lot about it. I am hoping they can resolve it soon and make considerations to foreign graduates. I find it so unfair for us who worked hard to have this BSN. Anyway, I am planning to apply for the LVN for now because of that issue. Is it possible to apply for RN to other states like New MExico at the same time? Good luck to everyone!

hi guys! i found this on saunders 4e page 662. the client is hospitalized for insertion of an internal cervical implant. while giving care, the nurse finds the radiation implant in the bed. the initial action by the nurse is to: 1. call the physician 2. reinsert the implant into the lady parts immediately 3. pick up the implant with gloved hands and flush it down the toilet 4. pick up the implant with the long-handed forceps and place it in a led container rationale: a lead container and long-handed forceps should be kept in the client's room at all times during internal radiation therapy. if the implant becomes dislodge, the nurse should pick up the implant with long-handed forceps and place it in the lead container. *clearly in this question the answer is number 4. maybe when there is a choice to notify the radiation therapy department , that is more appropriate or correct now since they are more trained and for safety the nurse should leave the room immediately to minimize the exposure.

Hi. I hope the ATI works for you. I am reading Saunders 4e now and planning to enroll in Kaplan online review. Reading allnurses everyday actually helped me LOL I pray before studying and when I feel lazy or I can't focus anymore I read inspirational stories in allnurses then it motivates me to go back on track just stay focus and motivated. If others can do it, then WE CAN!!

Hi Julia. Yeah i think I will really enroll in the Kaplan class. I liked it so far lol I'm doing the QTrainers now and I have low score haha but its okay. How long did you prepare for you test? Thanks!
