I started a 12 month LPN program this past Monday...and I made it through the first week!!! There are 51 students in the class O_o and its sad to say that some should not be there...as for me Im HAPPY to be there and have faith that I will get through!

I think I was seated behind u *next to the lady with the cute southern accent...do u have the cool ear piercings?* I too have heard the HORROR stories :uhoh21: and I have faith that things will get better or work its self out for the best at this moment *Im just going through a seperation and Im trying to learn how to transition into being a single mom* THANKS so MUCH for the kind words!

Hey kimkb0429,I also was at oriebtation! some of the classmates seem pretty cool...Im still a bit undecided about others...Im beyond excited and a bit nervous...already starting to have a few issues with the home front...hopefully it gets better for me.

I know for schools in CT even though the school has a certain average they still go with higher scores so if it comes down to you *72* and someone else who scores an 75 they might go with the other person...Is that the only school your applying to? If not maybe you can study more and re-test...you might score higher, have a better chance of getting in and you may be able to use the score for other schools

what state are you in? The science part of my test was mostly life and earth science and the math was algebra, measurements and a crap load of decimal/fractions...GOOD LUCK TO U!!!

We have orientation on the 1st so Im wishing that we get our books or at least some type of list...I need some type of idea...can you tell me what care plan book you feel might be best? Thanks!

Im starting an LPN program next month and would like some recommendations on any books that might help outside of the books being provided by the school and also any supplies that are a must have *I have some things already but would like to know what you guys have or had used in the pass.*...THANKS!

I did't study much...The times when I did study it was a LPN/LVN study guide I picked up at Barnes and Noble.

Took the TEAS today I was soooo nervous that I had a HUGE panic attack...took me a bit to calm down and in the end...I KICKED ITS BUTT!!!! :)
