  1. Hello!! Congratulations!! We made it through these intense 5 weeks! Agh!! I'm taking Holistic Care of Older Adults and Legacy of the Family on November! So we still keep in touch! I hope you all did great on this class!! Rosi
  2. I wish I could see the quizzes, too! I haven't been doing very well on the last two quizzes and I'm starting to get a little nervous about the comprehensive final. I don't know how many questions there will be...I turned in my assignments and this time it took me even longer to complete them than the ones before...One more week! We can do this!! :)
  3. That's exciting Amy! I can't wait to be done with this program, but I'm halfway there. We only have a week a half left of this class, we are almost there and we can do this!! Regars, Rosi
  4. Thank you so much for all the help ya'll. I did attach a COLDSPA, I guess there is no other way. I finally did a discussion right!! How is everyone doing?
  5. I have a question about COLDSPA...If my patient has zero complaints this week I don't have to do one, is that right? Thank you for your help!
  6. I think this is all repeated information over and over again. I don't think they'll care if we repeat what we said if you had already asked the patient about that specific body part, etc or assessed that patient's area before, but I would put appropriate references. Is there such thing as self-plagiarism?...Well, there is! According to Wikipedia (2012), "Self-plagiarism (also known as "recycling fraud"[50]) is the reuse of significant, identical, or nearly identical portions of one's own work without acknowledging that one is doing so or without citing the original work. Articles of this nature are often referred to as duplicate or multiple publication. In addition to the ethical issue, this can be illegal if copyright of the prior work has been transferred to another entity. Typically, self-plagiarism is only considered to be a serious ethical issue in settings where a publication is asserted to consist of new material, such as in academic publishing or educational assignments..." 7. This class is so frustrating! I can't never get the discussions right, I got another 50% because I didn't know I needed the "AEB", ugh! I didn't see any instructions about how to do the discussion. I haven't started on this week's assignments yet, and I can't believe we have a comprehensive test worth 30% How are you all doing?
  8. Amy, Do you think we have to type down the name of every single lymph node on the objective part? Regards, Rosi
  9. Amy, Thank you for the suggestions. You're right we better be safe than sorry. These assignments are bringing me back to nursing school all over again.
  10. Thank you everyone for the encouragement! I just got back my grade for the subj assign only, I did not include the 24 hr food intake and missed an "A" on the COLDSPA part. I am very thankful that I still was able to get an A on at least one assignment, I am not being too positive about the obj one. Now, do we have to do a dietary intake for every assignment or it was only for the first one? It seems that at the end of this class we will have to put all the parts together of the assessment and I think we are going to have to fix whatever we missed the first time. Is that correct or read too much into it? Thank you for your help in advance. The best to you all, Rosi "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream" C. S. Lewis
  11. I remember seeing the Vietnam Women's Memorial when I visited D.C, very touching!
  12. I love it, too! Thank you for this!
  13. That is awesome!! Keep it up!! I am sure you'll do great on your following classes.
  14. Congratulations!! It is such a great feeling, it gives me the chills to think about that day!!
  15. That is great! Very motivating! Thank you for sharing :)
