  1. Last time I got the kaplan 2011-12 reviews and strategy book as well as the Saunders Comp Review and just studied those. This time I studied those (much more thoroughly) and I also did the Kaplan online review. The LOD classes were wonderful and so was the Qbank. With the Qbank I would only choose to do unanswered questions and questions I got wrong until I made it through all 4000 or so questions and got them all right.
  2. Congratulations! There sure are a lot of those SATA...I counted about 16 by the time I got to 75 questions!
  3. congratulations. It feels good I'm sure!
  4. Thanks and to you as well.
  5. That is amazing! Congrats! way to stick with it and pass! That is inspiring!
  6. I am RN. I actually got a job as a homemaker for this new hospice that started in my city and I have a job starting as an RN for them as soon as my license comes in. I'm sure it won't take long to find a job as a PN.
  7. First off CONGRATULATIONS on passing! I remember writing to you in January when you didn't pass and neither did I...(hard time) But look you did it! I just took mine today and got the good pop up as well! Your strategy for studying sounds very much like my own and it looks like it paid off! Again Congrats!
  8. Thank you. As you know its very nerve wrecking to take the test but for those of us who've had to take the test more then once its even more so because you know what its like not to pass and then you begin to think about what would happen if you didn't pass again...I'm so relieved. I've been stressed out since I began studying the first time back in December. There is a bright side to not having passed the first time though. It made me study and gain more knowledge which will help me become a stronger nurse!
  9. I took my nclex this morning at 8am for the second time...I thought I was doing well and was completely ready for the test to end at 75 questions...but then it didnt...it went to 100, then 130, then finally ended at 136. It was one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do. Having to take it for a second time didn't help. But the last question I answered I felt like I got right so I was feeling more confident then the first time. So I got home and this is the message that pops up on Pearson View "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." This is the good pop up right?
  10. We will do it this time!
  11. Thanks everyone. I'll be continuing to study until the day before! The one positive about not passing the NCLEX the first time is that you are forced to expand upon your knowledge base even more!
  12. Just recieved my ATT for the NCLEX RN. This will be my second time...Took it the first time on January 4th...I actually thought I passed because for the first two days after I took the test I got a message that said your test results are on hold and you can not reschedule at this time...late on the second day the message changed and I got the CC screen...Very disapointed. Was hard to deal with but I moved on and am back stronger and more confident then before! So now I have my NCLEX scheduled for Thursday, March 1st and I'm looking forward to it but am still nervous. All I can allow myself to think of is that I will pass. I have a job as an RN riding on the line if I pass starting the next day. I've been doing kaplan around 100 questions a day as well as doing online classroom tutorials and my scores keep improving. So this time I plan to kick the NCLEX's A%#!
  13. CONGRATS!!! THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME! You must have some angels looking out for you! I have a friend who took it this morning and his license was posted on the BON by noon! I have another classmate who took it today as well and they got the CC screen...second time they didn't pass....
  14. Please don't give up. I understand where you're at right now. I failed my test at the beginning of January:( But believe me you just move forward. You may not know the reason you didn't pass this time but trust that your higher self knows what's best for you and let the sadness go. You can only become a stronger nurse by having to study more and coming back again. Look at this way you've taken it once and now you know what it's like. You can do it and you deserve to realize this goal! Have faith in yourself and a higher power and will succeed!
  15. I'm just going to do more questions and try to study with some of my classmates that have yet to take the test and study with some friends how have already passed and just keep pilin in the info...I need about a week off though, I'm burnt out. You?
  16. I studied ATI, Saunders, and Kaplan. I had a lot of SATA questions as well as quite a few meds... I couldn't believe it. Someone told me that if you were getting a lot of SATA questions that means that you were doing good because those questions are suppose to be the harder ones... oh well.
  17. Thanx....will try to get back to studying in about a week.
  18. Just got the bad pop up and already re registered...feeling pretty sad about that right now but I know i will pass the second time around....just never failed a test before in my life...
  19. Hey Man I feel for you. I just found out today after waiting for more than a day and trying the PVT that I didn't pass either...I know you may feel like you let your family down, but you didn't. I feel the same way. We just need to re register and kick the NCLEX's butt the next time around (I'm thinking this but feel really depressed right now)
  20. Yeah, it came up with the results have been delivered message within an hour of taking the test that's why I'm wondering why my results are still on hold...One of my friends took it this summer and got this message for two days though before it changed to the good pop up...
  21. I just got the same message today...it's causing me lots of stress. Did everyone who had this happen actually end up passing though? I think my test is on hold because I stood up at the end of my test instead of raising me hand...
  22. oh crud... that could be the reason...the white board, I accidently stood up when I finished my test instead of putting my hand up...
  23. I was getting results right between 58-63 before I took the test today and I feel that that level is a comfortable level to feel confident at when going to take the NCLEX. I've talked to several others who had results like your's and they did well. Make sure to get a good nights sleep in tonight, it'll be very valuable for your sanity tomorrow!
  24. Congratulations! I hope that you find some time to do a little extra celebrating because you deserve it!
  25. so before i get too excited, you're saying that the "the canidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." this is a good pop up to have!? if yes then great!!!
