  1. Thanks! Haven't heard anything yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!
  2. Hi guys! I am a new-grad LPN and I just went on my first interview. It is at a SNF, the lady loved me she introduced me to her DON and she said she wanted to start a background check on my immediately and wants to start orientation on Monday so she said she is pushing it. When I was about to leave she said I WILL be calling you. After I got home a few hours passed and she called said i forgot to sign a paper, so I came back signed the paper and she saw me she was like YAY you came back! I'm getting nothing but good vibes right now! Questions are... How long does it usually take for them to call you back & if I dont hear from anyone how soon should I call them?

  4. So, I live in Cali & scheduled my NCLEX appointment in San Francisco (8 hours away) Didn't take any books with me! Left the day before arrived at 10 p.m. my test was 8 a.m. the next morning! All I did was say a little prayer went to bed, went to my appointment started my test at 8:00 a.m. I ended around 9:30 a.m. The test stopped me at 91 questions! I felt like a total failure! After that I enjoyed my day! 2 Days after I got the "Good Pop Up!" I'll keep you guys posted when I get my results! :)
  5. I live in California to! I'm going up to San Francisco tomorrow! And that's funny I just went and got my hair done i'm leaving tomorrow.. Thanks for the great advice guys!
  6. I'm flipin' SO nervous about my test this thursday! I graduated Oct. 2011 I admit I did not study that good over winter break I did go to a review class once per a week. I've been studying like crazy for these last 2 weeks, but I feel like i'm getting a cold so I slowed down my studying. I took ATI through out my nursing program and took the comprehensive final (% of chance to pass the test on the first time) and I scored a 96%. Any tips, study guides, hints on what to study for the next 2 days before my test?? Also, does ATI really help??
  7. Congrats to u!!
  8. My rationale is that's way to high for an IM injection of morphine, and would want to verify that with the physician & another RN nurse.. Unless you are trying to get this patient into respiratory failure with that amount..
  9. B. Notify the physician for clarification of the order
  10. Oh okay, i'm going over pharm right now! anything else will be greatly appreciated!!
