  1. How did the interview go for you? I thought they were extremely nice, the 45 minutes flew by.
  2. I submitted back in early September, had my interview on Friday, I feel it went well. Is anyone interviewing this week, or did anyone last week hear anything yet? I know they said it could take 1-2 weeks. They said they would notify by email. They were very nice in the interview, they asked a little bit about everything if anyone is curious.
  3. Did anyone get the email that was supposed to be sent? After they gave me an interview time they said that they would be sending a follow up email. I have yet to receive anything. I want to be able to participate tomorrow.
  4. Yes I received a call today as well. Interviewing early next week via zoom.
  5. Hey JTRN88, I see you interviewed on the 9th and notified promptly of your acceptance. Out of curiosity, how long after you submitted your application did you receive contact from Barry in terms of an interview an invite? I submitted my app on 9/9 the day you interviewed. Been waiting to hear, and now with Ian causing quite a bit of devastation, not sure what kind of timeline to expect. Congratulations on getting in, and hoping everyone is safe.
  6. Did they add these requirements over the past year or two? I have had my eye on applying to Barry since 2020, and have been finishing up my application to finally apply this round. I was just looking over the websites criteria, and now I see a link I have never noticed before. Is the CRNA shadowing experience form something new? Also, I swear that for the Chemistry requirement, there was never a "within the last 5 years" at least back in 2020 and 2021. I can handle the CRNA shadowing form, but the Chemistry thing through me off. I have a BSN 2020 , and another BS in a science from 2011 with lots of science/chem courses. I am actively in the ANE695 Transition to Anesthesia course to make up for not having a recent chem course, because I don't think my classes from BSN in 2020 would cover the requirement. Wondering if anyone else noticed this, also good luck to everyone applying this round!
  7. Yes, I plan on having my application end by the end of the month at the latest,
  8. This is great advice. Thank you for posting this. Goes to show if you really want it, that the path is there.
  9. Yes I just received my rejection letter as well. Congrats to all who got in. Average GRE was 308/4.0 writing, GPA 3.6 for nursing.
  10. I interviewed Friday afternoon and have not heard anything. They said we would here back either today or this Friday afternoon at the latest. I haven’t heard anything so I’m sure we will hear back later this week, whether it’s waitlisted or rejected.
  11. Yeah, if you could post what day and when you interviewed that’d be super helpful as we find out who got in. It’s killing me to find out. I interviewed yesterday afternoon. That’s an incredible turn around.
  12. Got the email today at 4:37PM. Looks like there are 65 people interviewing. Does anyone know how many they generally accept per cohort?
  13. Yes I also received that email. It’s been “referred to the academic department for review”
  14. Submitted today. Shall we post our stats/experience? 8 years multiple L1 and L2 trauma/teaching ER experience, 1 year vascular access nurse, former EMT-B, BSN, CEN GPA varies but mostly all A's in nursing course associates and bachelors Bachelors in Clinical Nutrition and Food Science from UF 10 years prior. Not sure how my GPA will be calculated because my UF grades years ago were not the best, but should be above 3.5 and nursing courses are roughly a 3.7. GRE 158V/156Q/3.5 so 314. What I lack in ICU experience I believe I makeup for in other experiences. If I don't get in this year, then I intend to go full time in an ICU and reapply but I know people who have got into schools with as little as 3 years ER experience.
  15. LOL, I was thinking about making a UNF Spring 2023 application forum. I am waiting on one final recommender for my application and will likely be submitting today. I also plan on applying to Barry, USF, and FGCU this year. I am so nervous. My stats are a little unusual, but if I can pull the interview I think I will be good.
  16. Just found out I passed this morning in FL. Exactly 48 hours after I finished the exam, my results on pearson vue became available for "Purchase." If you want to know if you passed, THIS is what you have to wait for. Still waiting on my licensure number. Don't panic if you're BON doesn't show you as licensed. These things take time. I am posting here because this is the kind of comment I was looking for while I was waiting for my results. Those 48 hours are stressful, and it is reassuring to see people post what their situation was like. The glorious 48 where you can't be happy because you haven't passed, and you cant be sad because you haven't failed. I had 32 SATA's and was cut off at 75. When people say SATA's aren't always difficult questions they are correct. Some of the SATA's were extremely easy... and of course some where the demon spawn of satan's nightmares. I am also fairly certain that the NCLEX invents its own drug names. I also don't advise graduating in May and waiting 3 months to open a book again. Should you choose this fate as I did, stick to your notes, they will refresh you. Utilize the ATI modules if you still have them from school, and my weapon of choice was the Kaplan Premiere book. Good speed and god luck to all future NCLEXERS.
  17. I took mine in FL this morning for the first time. + 30 SATA questions and cut off at 75. I have to know, but I don't want to lose $200. I am in a glass cage of emotion right now. It sucks to be the first people to have to experience the risks of the new trick. It seems like it works, but $200 is a lot of money. I am ranting on here right now to distract me from clicking submit on the other tab. HALP
  18. denied. i know i did not do very well on my interview
  19. no I was 8:30, I only saw two other guys. just out of curiosity how many guys did you see in the 1030?
  20. 1. how do you handle annoying people?2. 3 words that describe you and why3. where do you see yourself in 5-10 years4 how do you deal with a fellow employee doing something dishonest5. what qualities are you looking for in our program?that wasn't bad but definitely a little stressful, how did everyone do?
  21. has anyone not recieved any sort of email? all of my information was in and i was told that they had everything they needed. i have checked all mailboxes and spam folders and have not been contacted in anyway. any ideas?
  22. interview at 8:30 ! can't wait.
  23. im getting nervous! its thursday and i still have not received the letter but i have not been denied. does anybody know how long the interview lasts? i saw one person say 90 minutes but that doesnt make sense if there is 158 people for one day in groups of 5.
  24. I third that. This website definitely helps deal with the stress of not knowing. It is getting to be the time where everyone starts posting that they were invited for an interview or not. I wish the best of luck to all! Just out of curiosity what kind of degree is everybody coming in with? I have a BS in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
  25. youll end up at the hospital anyways. your better off pullin at altitude in high winds on a sunday night
