Hey at my school the have accommodations for those with testing anxiety. I have them myself! Talk to your academic advisers about what your school offers, because although all schools have to comply with the American Disability Act or whatever, its my understanding that the rules are different. Not totally sure on that... Anyway at my school theres a coordinator that we have to talk to, she gives us a form and we take it to our doctor who signs it and *presto* accommodations! They may be able to give you paper tests, more review time, a private test taking setting, lots of stuff! Look into it, it may be what you need!

When I was a cna, I LOVED my job, couldnt stand 90% of my coworkers.... I had a coworker that tried to get me fired for stealing oxys when some were missing. I wasnt super upset, since it could have been anyone on our shift, so I submitted to the drug test as did everyone else, and the real culprit was fired. However, on a weekly basis she'd blame me for stealing random pills EVEN WHEN NONE WERE MISSING! They finally xfered her to another facility, AFTER I quit to go to school lol

This morning my fiancee got a call from his daughter at the school nurses office saying she got her ring stuck on her finger. He got my attention super fast and wanted me to fix it, which is fine since I tend to wear rings more than him... Anyway, his daughter gave the phone to the nurse and he said "Can I send my fiancee? Shes in nursing school so she knows all about this kind of stuff." **** I was so horrified. I did not want any sort of non-credentials going in to cut a ring off my 10 year old step daughter... I mean, I'm only in 1st semester and I've never cut a ring off a patient in clinical, so idk why he thought nursing school had anything to do with it! The worst part is I was planning to swing by my clinical assignment afterwards to get some paperwork done so I was in my uniform. The nurse must have really thought I was full of myself... lol

-I'm not top of the class, but just because I got a 78% and you got a 94% doesn't mean I'm your *****. It means my kid was puking all night and I was up almost all night playing nurse... I'd like to see you get a passing score after sleep deprivation... -If you don't like cigarettes, and complain about them constantly, why do you hangout with them during breaks?!?!?! -For the eight gillionth time, STOP CONTAMINATING YOUR STERILE FIELD IN LAB BECAUSE "IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER." Theres a reason we practice this stuff... If you practice it wrong, you're going to give everyone MRSA at clinicals... -I can't come over your house for a study group because I have kids. They will not sit quietly and color for 4 hours. If you want to come over my place during nap time, great. Dont tell me I'm going to fail the test because I didnt go to YOUR study group... -You're not magically going to get a job making $80,000/year in labor and delivery or peds when you graduate... -Patients die
