  1. @de2013 I am literally in tears from laughing at your comment!!! not to make light of the poster's situation- but as "justbreathe" said, contact your school for the correct info. I:redbeathe this blog....
  2. Congrats! :yelclap:
  3. Thank you for this advice- When my AP II class is over next week, I will start preparing for the TEAS.
  4. oh yeah BTW, I''m finishing up my pre-reqs. Taking A&P II now and taking Micro in the fall. Taking July and Aug off to study for the TEAS and apply to several Nursing programs in my area!!
  5. Just turned 48 in May! Not sweating it though- honestly I was not ready emotionally or psychologically to be a Nurse. Had a lot of growing up to do! Graduated: Oh Lawdy ;~) with a BS in Business and had a successful 20+ year career in the financial industry, got plenty of experience in the corporate world. In the meantime, lost 50 pounds (and kept it off), ended an abusive marriage, and buried 3 of the most loved and important people in my life. Lots of baggage has been unpacked and thrown away. Now I am ready to fullfill a dream that I've had since I was 8 years old. Nothing is impossible- the universe gives us everything we need! Godspeed to everyone of you....
  6. A&P I - B; Nutrition- A. Taking A&P II now, gonna be hectic but, I will make it through. Taking Micro in the fall; not taking anything second session of the summer- need to concentrate on the entrance exams for Nursing school and complete the applications to enter the programs.
  7. :waving to everyone: I'm a 40+ pre-nursing student that just made an A on my second A&P I lecture exam after getting a 56 on the first one. Was beginning to wonder if I could cut it. I will be 50 when I finish Nursing School and although that sort of scares me a bit, the life experience that I can bring to the table because of my age makes me stand a little taller. Don't ever give up on your dream! The universe gives us everything we need including the most difficult challenges- stay positive!
