  1. Advice please. I registered for my NCLEX-RN at Pearson Vue's website. BUT my whole name did not fit the web form. Example: (not my real name) First name: Christopher Alexander Middle name: Cruz Last name: Young "Christopher Alexander" could not fit. It was only up to "Christopher Al" I mailed my payment to Pearson Vue, including a typewritten letter detailing how my full name could not fit the web form. I then got an e-mail from them that goes something like: "You have successfully registered....your details are as follows: Christopher Al Cruz Young" It also said that if there were any corrections that needed to be done, to contact the State Board that I registered at. And that it was important that my details must match exactly the identification that I was to present on testing day. So I e-mailed Vermont BON. They replied: "That's fine. It will not affect your testing." I then e-mailed Pearson Vue's customer service, along with Vermont BON's reply. They said, "as long as part of your first name and last name match, then it is okay." What should I do now? Have any of you experienced this also? I'm just concerned that I might be refused to sit for the exam on testing day. I don't wanna waste $350 (I'm from the Philippines) just because my name does not match my passport exactly. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hahaha, that just sounds so cool and nerdy at the same time :)
  3. Hi. I decided to create this thread specifically for NCLEX takers who are based in the Philippines. (To the mods, I apologize if this isn't the proper forum to post this to.) We can share study notes, books, find a study buddy, ask questions, etc. What books are you using? So far I have: Saunders 4th edition that I bought from C&E Bookshop for about P2,400 a few years ago. Kaplan Strategies book, the 2008-2009 edition. Got this from a friend of a friend. LaCharity's Prioritization book 2nd edition, P385 from National Bookstore. The low priced edition. I also have a Kaplan Question Trainer from slideshare. Found that just by Googling "Kaplan" and "question trainer." I'd also like to share this link for NCLEX 3500 I got from the other allnurses posters, http://www.nursing.slcc.edu/nclexrn3500 There is also the low priced edition of ExamCram Q&A 2nd edition 2007 at National Bookstore for around P300, for those who are interested. I'm now torn whether to buy Lippincott's Q&A 9th edition for P1,400, OR to buy Kaplan's 2011-2012 strategies book P1,700. Everybody's saying that Kaplan is useful for reviewing, but I already have the 2008-2009 edition. On the other hand, I found that they added questions and content to the 2011-2012 edition. I can't find the 10th edition of Lippincott in the Philippines, only the 9th edition that was released 2007. What do you guys think, which one should I buy? Should I also buy ExamCram Q&A since it's only P300, BUT it's just the 2007 edition and not the newer 2010 edition?
  4. Congratulations! All your hard work paid off. Good for you for answering 3,000 questions! I feel like my own review is sorely lacking.
  5. Hi darlenesky do you live in the Philippines or in the US? Because there is a low price edition of LaCharity at National Bookstore, it's only P385. Hope that helps.
  6. WOW! Thanks for the link! Er, I'm also apprehensive about posting my e-mail address in public. Have you guys received the NCLEX 4000 yet?
  7. Good luck and God bless. I hope you make it.
  8. Congratulations!
  9. Thank you for the links! God bless you!
  10. Congratulations! I'll be taking it soon too but I feel I'm so NOT ready...
  11. I'll be taking the nclex soon too...
