  1. Do you have Leik's book "Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Intensive Review"? Her book goes into a lot of detail about that.
  2. Try googling these (unsure if links can be posted): MCPHS Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Nursing - FNP track Jefferson School of Nursing Post-Master's Degree Nurse Practitioner Certification SJCME Post MSN - Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate GWU Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program Umass-Boston Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) Post Master’s certificate (online) Olivet Nazarene University Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate (on-site) Walden University FNP certificate program Lewis University (in IL) Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate (on-site) University of St Francis (in IL) Family Nurse Practitioner – Post Master’s Certificate (online) Alverno College (in Wisconsin) Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Program (on-site) St Louis University FNP certificate (online)
  3. If you go to their web site, an online Adv Pharm course (for any of their online MSN programs or individual graduate courses) could not be found. CSU Dominguez Hills and University of Mass (Boston) has an online Adv Pharm course. Try University of South Alabama and University of Alabama (Birmingham) for online adv pharm, patho, and physical assessment. SJCME online's web site says that they are no longer taking applications for their FNP program due to "high demand." They have an online self-paced Adv Pharm course. You would have to call and ask if its still available for you to enroll.
  4. Much Agreed, Student_FNP
  5. Try Fort Hays State University's online MSN-FNP program or University of North Dakota's online programs.
  6. St Joseph's College of Maine (SJCME), University of Mary (18-mo FNP), Concordia University (Wisconsin), Clarkson College, University of Colorado (Denver), Purdue University-Calumet, University of South Alabama, St Louis University
  7. There's Post-Master's FNP certificate programs at: SJCME, Frontier Nursing University, Oakland University, Concordia University (WI), Purdue University-Calumet, St Louis University, Clarkson College, University of Colorado (Denver), University of Massachusetts (Boston), University of North Dakota, University of South Alabama, Ball State University, Grand Canyon University, University of Alabama (Birmingham). University of Phoenix offers an on-site Post-Master's FNP certificate in AZ and CA. You'd have to ask them which cities in AZ and CA that they offer that certificate. If you want to know what states that they offer that certificate, you'd have to call them. University of Mary offers a 15-18 month online MSN-FNP program, if you don't have an MSN.
  8. Does this apply to their Post-Master's FNP? They clearly list this option (for those with an MSN already) on their web site.
  9. SJCME has an online FNP certificate program (3 courses + 3 clinical courses) since your 3 P's are completed. SLU and Purdue University-Calumet has an online FNP certificate also. GWU has an advanced-standing track (online certificate FNP) for advanced practice nurses also.
  10. UMKC has an online 3-course certificate program (CNS to FNP) since you've already taken the 3 P's. http://nursing.umkc.edu/documents/academic-programs/plans-of-study/post-masters-policy.pdf Umass-Boston has an online post-master's FNP, but its a 5-course certificate program (for non-NPs).
  11. Georgetown University, University of Mary, University of North Dakota. They offer online programs, but help with setting up clinicals.
  12. George Washington University (GWU) has an online certificate program (advanced-standing track) for NPs looking to get their FNP. Its only 3 courses.
  13. CSUDH and Jacksonville State University had online CNS programs. Umass Boston has a post-master's CNS certificate program for those wanting to finish up their requirements to take the CNS exam.
  14. "Study Guide to Accompany Pathophysiology: Concepts of Altered Health States" (any edition will do) by Carol Porth. "Pathophysiology: Concepts of Altered Health States" textbook by Carol Porth. 16. University of Mary Georgetown University University of North Dakota (Their NP programs are online, but they help in setting up clinicals and preceptors.)
  17. Are you looking for online or onsite NP programs that set up clinicals and preceptors?
  18. Undergraduate or Graduate-level?
  19. Anyone know if University of Phoenix offers an online Advance Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, or Physical Assessment course?
  20. University of Phoenix or Grand Canyon University for an online graduate level statistics. St Joseph's College of Maine, Grand Canyon University, Liberty University, University of North Dakota, Clarkson College, University of Colorado (Denver), or University of Mary for online advance pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment.
  21. SCJME (St Joseph's College of Maine) has Advanced Pathophysiology (NP603) online and is self-paced over 15 weeks.
  22. I wondered about that too. An online poster named nursekaty29 said that she used preceptorconnect.com, under the thread "How to find NP preceptor for clinical practicum" I posted the link to her response below, but unsure if the link will appear. You can search for the online poster or that "thread" in the search box. https://allnurses.com/post-graduate-nursing/how-find-np-422696.html
  23. University of Phoenix does offer an on-site post-master's FNP certificate in AZ and CA, not an online one. Their web site says its in the Phoenix and Sacramento areas. You would need to call to find out which cities have the on-site post-master's FNP certificate program. http://www.phoenix.edu/programs/continuing-education/certificate-programs/nursing-and-health-care/fnp/v008.html
  24. Try University of Colorado (Anschultz Medical Campus) -Denver. NURS 6243 Advanced Pathophysiology Their web site (under FAQs) say that they let students take graduate courses as a non-degree seeking students. http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/nursing/programs-admissions/masters-programs/specialties/Pages/family-nurse-practitioner.aspx
