Hi! I have a story for ya sweetie. I am 24 years old. I have been trying to get into the nursing program at my school and other schools for two years now. I have been rejected from one school twice and my school rejected me once. I re-applied to my school this past fall and I decided to go to another school for health information. I gave up. As soon as I was about to go to another school I recieved my acceptance letter in the mail from my current school. I dropped everything from the other school and chose the nursing program. I am so happy and excited right now. I cried about it, prayed about it, worked hard, took the teas 3 times, and I still made it. Do not ever give up on your dreams. I almost gave up and I would have regret it. If u want something go hard for it at all cost (education). All my friends I graduated with already have degrees. Do all of them have jobs, no. Building a career takes time and I am just getting started. I cant wiat. U can do it. Dont give up, no matter who already have a degree. No matter who's in your ear, go for what you want out of life.

I know right. She thought I work full-time. I just work part-time. I refuse to work full-time while in nursing school. Its true but I am so happy the my job works around my schooling

congrats! I just recieved my acceptance to the nursing program also. My friend who is already in the program just told me to stay focus and read. Its a lot of time and commitment. She also said do not work full-time while in nursing school.

I have also applied to csu and sxu. has anyone recieved any letters.

I know im late but I have been in school for five years now. I have been rejected from 3 schools and I feel like giving up on nursing. I plan to take a 5wk cna class this november but im still waiting on acceptance letters from two schools. I feel the same way u felt mrbear15. I thought about going towards HCA. I was wondering did u stay with nursing or turned to HCA

is it hard to get in if u have a good gpa and good grades but low test score like in the 60s

im having a dilemma what r the chances of getting in if i have a 62 on the teas and 3.0 gpa. i have all my pre-requisites for spring 2012
