  6. Hello All, I started an Accelerated BSN program last month and I am currently overwhelmed with all the expectations. Im currently taking health assessment, pharmacology and fundamentals and each class has weekly quizzes and test, i am wondering what some of you guys use as study techniques, is it really possible to read every page of each book? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I want to do my very best in Nursing School! :) Thanks you'all!!

  10. Hey guys! I have just recently graduated with a BA in Sociology. Before becoming a Sociology major I was a Pre-Nursing major, I didn't do that well in Anatomy & Physiology, I got a C and B, but did well in Chemistry and Microbiology, but I also couldn't pass the TEAS well it was the NET some years ago. The GPA to get into the program was a 2.8 and I only had like a 3.0, while most had 3.5 and above. Because of these issuses I decided to change my major and apply for an accelerated Nursing Program once I got my degree. Well now that I have obtained my degree, I am anxious to start a nursing program, i took the TEAS in December and passed it (Finally!). Now I am wondering should I try to apply in September to an ADN program since I have all the pre-reqs or should I wait til January and apply to a very competitive Accerelerated program. Since the Age of 6 I can remember wanting to be a nurse and it just seems like there are so many hurdles for me. I just feel like the accelerated program will be another hurdle being that my GPA is only now a 3.2. Just wanted a little advice on what road you'all think I should take. Thank You!
  11. I personally attended a 4yr college and could not get into the BSN program due to a limited amount of space this has forced me to pursue ADN. I currently hold a BA in Sociology, I would have loved to recieve a BSN and go from there but I had no other choice due to spacing.
