   Im a CNA in NY and I just looked around for local nursing homes that were providing the class. They paid me an hourly wage while going to class and paid for the tuition. That is the best way if you can find a place to do that! Good Luck!

   I agree with the other posts. I've been a CNA for 10 years and it is a whole different world in a long term nursing home. Especially with dementia patients. Try to stick it out and as hard as it might seem you should try and get to know your patients...
