  1. Thanks for sharing salvie! I'm from batch 2k6.... I also went through the same things you experienced. When a younger cousin told me she wanted to take nursing... i was like "noooo. don't do it! just take up computer engineering or something else." She didn't listen. Maybe she thought i was underestimating her or something. I tried to explain the whole situation to her and her mom. But... *shrugs* Anyway, I'm currently working in a call center for 2 and a half years. Most of my batch mates are in Saudi Arabia now. They submitted fake employment certificates just to work there. Some are in UK. But from what I gather, you have to give both arms and a leg just to get there. Now the question becomes: what would you do or NOT do to follow your dreams?

I WANT TO GO TO SAUDI. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! I'll be turning 22 on JULY 22. BUT They did not accept my application in the POEA. What should I do? Can't I just BEG in the SRO to accept my application? Can't they give me any consideration? Huhuhuhuhuhuhu I REALLY x 7 WANT TO GO TO SAUDI.
  3. Anyway, it's like this. My cousin was diagnosed with dengue fever. During the first 5 days of his confinement, his fever would usually range from 39oc - 41oc. he also has black tarry stool which was why the doctor gave a NPO status order on him. so far, he hasn't been febrile for 24 hours now. however, I'm rather concerned about the NPO status. he hasn't eaten anything for 36 hours and he's getting weaker and weaker. aside from that, his platelet count has dropped to 80,000 microliter (x 10-6/Liter) of blood. is it okey for him to continue on NPO for more than 36 hours? will a D5LR be able to sustain him for that long?
  4. just one more week to go before school opens again and so far, I still haven't got any idea what my thesis will be. i was thinking of doing a research on music therapy but I don't think it's feasible. I don't have resources so I guess I'll just have to think of something else. I was wondering if some of you could share what your thesis was and why you chose it... just want to get some ideas. thankx in advance. ^^
  5. I just want to know... has anybody asked you for permission to publish reports about you?
  6. I'm not working yet but here in our place, the ratio of nurse- patient is 1:20. and well, they don't really have enough time to do the NPI so they just prepare the medicines, check who needs to change IVF's and who has a fever or something like that and then write the NCP. that's how they do it here. but anyway, they give verbal or oral report.
  7. as long as it's not a hoop earring. ^^
  8. I think guys with chest hair should put on a t-shirt. that way they'd look more decent. besides, chest hairs can be distracting. ^^
  9. i wanted to take psychology or maybe journalism but I didn't pass in the entrance exam in the other schools I applied for.
