  1. Do you think doubling up is an option now with research? I heard in the original class with group work it was wise to do the class on its own...just curious as I am taking it in May and would love to put literature with it if possible! Thanks
  2. It was a course at a local hospital a critical care group through AACN.
  3. I passed the PCCN today! Took 3 day review course in October and studied some the last couple days! Know your ABG's! good luck!!
  4. I'm in the same boat!! Start Monday and wanting to take gen ed classes in August but I don't know about the workload for professional nursing...
  5. I just got my degree plan as well on Thursday! Awaiting academic hold to be taken off so I can register! I applied in March and just got everything finalized. I did request to start summer term.
  6. :yelclap:Congratulations!!! It is a great feeling for sure to put the test behind you!
  7. I used the NCSBN website 3 week online course for $50 and my school provided the 4 day Kaplan course as well. I did about 25% of the qbank for Kaplan with an average of about 62%. The test to me was very similar to answering the questions on either of these reviews. I answered about 50-100 questions per day. I finished 80 questions in just over an hour. I had a about 12-14 SATA, 2 drag and drops, 1 math question and 1 EKG strip. You can do it!!! Just concentrate on what you learned in school and touch up on the areas where you were weakest. That is what I feel really helped me! GOOD LUCK!!!! You can do it!:heartbeat
  8. Thanks everyone!
  9. Found out this morning I officially passed my boards and will be starting my new job in the NICU in 2 weeks! The Pearson Vue trick worked! Thanks for all the valuable information on this website! Good luck to all! You can do it!
  10. I used the NCSBN 3 week trainer for $50! I really felt like the questions were on track with Kaplan as well as the NCLEX. That is a way to save money at least! Good luck to you!!! :)
  11. You can do it!!! When I sat down it felt like I was doing question trainer through Kaplan. To me the questions seemed easier overall compared to Kaplan! I'm still waiting for my official results but I got the good pop up! GOOD LUCK!!!!:heartbeat
  12. I also took my exam today at 200 pm! Got to start early since their were open chairs when I got there. I took 80 questions with 12 SATA, 2 drag and drop, 1 EKG strip, 2 math problems and the rest was who would you see first! I finished my exam in just over an hour and left there asking myself what did those questions just ask me. I either felt very confident when I answered or was confused as to what the question was asking. I got home 30 minutes after I finished and logged on to pearson vue and got the presummed good pop up! Fingers crossed! I will not find out until Monday if I passed but I will keep the faith! My new job depends on me passing and I will be devestated if I am not able to keep it! Congrats to everyone today! I'm lost right now not sitting with my book in my lap reviewing NCLEX style questions!
  13. I was just curious because there was a "new" pop up about passing so I was confused! I'm hoping and praying that it is for sure the good pop up when I find out on Monday! Fingers crossed!
  14. I am in Arkansas and they do not participate in quick results through pearson vue. I took my exam today at 200 pm and just got the pop up that says our records indicate you recently schedued exam.... is that the good pop up for states that do not participate in quick results? Thanks, Lauren
  15. Thanks for the information!! I'm still going to study the day before! I have always done this as it is my comfort :) I'm going to read the study guide from Allnurses and review labs for sure!
