  1. I don't understand why you wouldn't read the rules?!?! I have taken the NCLEX 4 times and although I knew the rules the last 3 time I still read the rules just in case. I really hope that doesn't sound mean. I think I read you will have to retake the test and repay. I don't know if they made notes of what you wrote on the board and they decide if it was brain dumping or not. I wish you the best of luck! :)
  2. Congrats!! I think 5/30 was a GREAT day to test. I tested for the 4th time and passed also :)
  3. That's how I was this past time taking my nclex! I kept telling my husband I am so tired of studying and days before my nclex it was almost non existing. I would do a few questions from lacharity and review key things but really didn't spend much time studying just relaxing and I passed!! Before I had studied a lot up to the test day and I think it made my test anxiety worse. I say if ur getting burnt out the week before your test slow it down :)
  4. Try to relax and not be nervous... I suggest just doing questions and review tips and key things until you test. Good luck!!!
  5. Thanks!!! I'm ready to get rid of my study books lol I don't want to ever see them again :) I will make a post with what I did in the next couple days. Honestly I am a very bad test taker...I get super nervous... this time I wasn't about two weeks ago I was just calm and it remained through today All weekend I kept telling my husband I am ready to take this test. I'm sick of studying I feel like its all just repetitive at this point. I even went on to try and reschedule for a sooner date but none opened up lol I wish I knew why I was so calm this time so I know for the future!
  6. I took mine today and got the good pop up... When you said it was so much harder and easier than you expected thats the same way I'm thinking hahah Congrats!!!
  7. I walked out of the test center and got on my phone it said delivery successful but I wasn't ready to check it yet. I drove to starbucks right across from the center and decided to check and I got the good pop up. That being said you should be able to do it as soon as your done.
  8. I have taken NCLEX 4 times now... The first three I was nervous as .... I couldn't think clearly at all. Today I was calm as I have ever been taking a test and I got the good pop up. You have to think positive and believe it. I also took focus factor this time :) GL
  9. YAY!!! Congrats again!! I'm defiantly paying for the quick results lol
  10. Congrats!!! is this what it said when you did the trick, Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.?? I just finished mine and this is what is said.
  11. AHHHH I took my NCLEX today at 2 for the 4th time. I walked out of the building and got in my car got on Pearsonvue and it said delivery successful... I called my hubby bc I was nervous as all get out haha and I couldn't decide if I wanted to check yet so I drove to Starbucks about 2 mins away and decided I had to know so I put in all my info and this is what I got, Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. In the past its always went to the CC page so I am guessing this is the good pop up?? I have no idea how many questions I answered I know at least 132 but after that I didn't look. I have a ton of prioritization and towards the end I was getting 2-3 SATA in a row then a prioritization or two then 2-3 SATA lol I can not wait to get the quick results and see that I indeed did PASS!!! I will post what I did different this time from the 3 previous times after I get my results. I hope you guys can confirm this is the good pop up :)
  12. WOOOHOOO!! I'm so glad you posted!! I am going to take mine today at 2 :)
  13. how did it go???
  14. It sounds like you are doing pretty well. I would say keep doing questions and reviewing content as need. Good Luck!
  15. Tomorrow 2pm CST. Good Luck!!!!
  16. Everyones different. Start doing NCLEX questions and practice tests and see how you do. If you feel comfortable take it. Don't wait to long though :)
  17. This is how the Nclex was explained to me there is a line ________ if you start out answering the first 5-7 questions right you are above and the more consistent you are answering correct you continue above. if you answer them below you start out digging your way up and its harder to get above passing. If you are not consistent you are constantly going up and down and the computer can figure even with X amount of questions left you will never be above passing. I am wondering since you ran out of time and only answered 143 ?'s maybe you were over thinking the questions. Just keep practicing questions and make sure you know the basic content :)
  18. I'm testing May 30 and I keep looking at other dates. I don't want to change my day I'm just nervous. This morning I told myself I am going to do it May 30 and I am going to pass. Now I'm going to move on to doing questions today :) Just try and be confident. I have failed 3x's now and its so hard for me to be confidant but I'm going to be because I know I've been doing what I need to do and if I can get my nerves under control I WILL pass :) BE CONFIDANT and POSITIVE!!! Good Luck.
  19. well that makes sense! lol I try to not focus on how many of each questions I've had or I go crazy!! :) Have you check to see if you passed??
  20. I don't know how people remember the exact number of types of questions they had. I can't even remember the number of questions total I had lol Good luck and just check it! It won't change and there no since in worrying if you passed or not. Hopefully you can be celebrating!! :)
  21. I've had questions where it give med information and asks what the nurse will do... in this case you need to know if the dose is to high or not to rule out a few of the answers.
  22. I sent you a PM with my email
  23. I will be taking the NCLEX May 30 for the 4th time. I am stuck with this fear of failing again. I have been doing different stuff to study this time. I got different books and went to a 3 day review course so I wasn't just studying on my own. I know that I know this but I can't get this fear to go away and be confident in my answer choices :/ I don't want to go into the test like this so I was wondering if anyone has an experience or advise?? Thanks!
  24. I want to test again right around my 46 days so the 19th ish of May my friend looked for me and theres only three days open right now for may when I can test theres only the 19,21,23 open :/ Between my 1st and 2nd attempt there was several months and I think that screwed me up so I am going to do it soon. My husband also got me Focus Factor to take because my mind is always wondering and I think it helped a bit so I'm going to continue taking it and I've been seeing a counselor to help with my test anxiety. I pray I get this the 4th time :)
  25. I failed for the 3rd time on Tuesday... I also am lost on where to go to prepare again. I've done kaplan and the ncsbn program this past time. Right now I think I'm going to start over with my exam cram book and try to do lots of questions every day :) GL studying. When do you plan to retake?
