  1. i know it's more than 2 years since you wrote this one but I hope someone can answer this. i found an approved job order from poea to an agency deploying nurses for egypt. does any one knows how is the working condition of a nurse in egypt and what hospital would you probably think offers an overseas opportunity for nurses? oh i forgot to ask that over the phone from the agency. thanks much for ur replies! :)
  2. hi! i'm still working as a company nurse.um, the BOSH training depends on the company you'd like to work for but most companies actually look for that. i don't have that training but had other trainings such as BLS and first aid which I think is very important in this field. regarding agencies, some big companies usually get their nurses from recruitment firms/agencies as far as I know.. well, good luck to you! :)
  3. i actually can't remember the names of agencies accepting but please try searching in jobstreet because some BPOs usually post a vacancy directly hired.. some really needs BOSH training but i am not really sure if it is recognized abroad..

hi all, i found this thread of RMC and i was one of those who trained and graduated from the earlier batch of the training.. experience-wise the hosp. will give you a good experience and with the process of acceptance of training and waiting, well, its kinda' hard at this moment compared to our time before.. also, after the training pls. don't expect much that u'll get absorbed/hired because none from our batch did have a chance.. if you are currently in training or will start training might as well just enjoy your experience there!

@Anne_Elliot03: you had your exam last july 15? what was the attire? i also don't know what to wear.. i'll took mine on august pa.. thanks in advance for the reply! :)
  6. i applied at ARM resources but as far as i know they don't have an opening for now.. try other agencies through searching online.. pinagtygaan ko lng tlga mghnap ol.
  7. that's the harsh reality of the nursing profession in our country.. i myself is now confused in my nursing career although i work as a company nurse but still w/ not-so-good compensation.. working in a hosp. is still much better however, i actually got tired of passing resumes in diff. hospitals since you wouldn't see any hope after all. i've been planning to shift my career if nothing happens within this year..
  8. @mikalai- Pacific Global are not hiring nurses yet.. For commonwealth hospital, the hospital is actually open however, they are currently not accepting nurse applicants since they are just starting and they already hired & trained staff nurses months ago.. hope it helps.

hi, good day! anyone here took the examination for staff nurse in pgh in the previous months? i am actually scheduled for august this year. i just want to ask if there is a prescribed attire when you take the exam & what are some tips you can give for the exam. replies are much appreciated. thanks so much!
  10. @mistiknit: rather not tell the company name but same setting with call centers.. most of the companies or call center usually hire company nurses through agencies because i myself is under an agency.. if ur ntrested just try searching online..
  11. i actually submitted my resumes twice in that hospital and i think they prefer "model-type" of nurses. i have a cousin working as a midwife their for more than 10 years & she told me that they usually hire "pretty" applicants.. that's why you'll notice that most of the female employees there are good-looking..
  12. up to now, they still & continue to send e-mail to nurses.. received a lot of e-mails with this scam.. sometimes they change the name of the hospital & even the address but still with the same process.. i also got to receive texts from them reminding of deadline for the payment and whatsoever.. just be careful fellow nurses!
  13. hi guys! i'm actually just new here.. well, i''m currently working as a company nurse for 3 mos. my working env't is good.. actually i wasn't required with the BOSH/OHNAP training but planning soon. i still need to save for it becoz it's really expensive.. (8k)..
