Hello friends, I'm a foreign graduate and I've passed NCLEX on my 3rd attempt. All thanks to this 'allnurses' website, because I met great people here who helped me throughout my NCLEX journey and made it possible to pass the NCLEX-RN exam. After graduating in year 2007, I appeared for NCLEX in 2011 for the first time ... I took kaplan, and didn't even touch the course book because I was expecting the content review in classroom lectures. Still, I took the exam and failed. After a few days of failing NCLEX, I got to know about this website and I found it really helpful. It took me almost a year to take the exam again. This time I used Kaplan course book, PDA, NCLEX 4000 ... I did 210 questions ... ran out of time and failed the exam again. But after the second attempt, I realized that I need to brush up on 'contents' and I'll be ready for the exam. On the third time, I used Hurst, Kaplan Qtrainers (shared with somebody), PDA,ncsbn(I did questions only) and 35 pages short notes (which I downloaded from allnurses website) ... and it took me four weeks to complete the prep. I took it on august 9th ... did 230 questions in 5:30hrs ... I got like 20-22 SATA, a lot of priority, 4 calculations ... I left the test center feeling that result is gonna be the same as last time ... I didn't do PVT. On august 17 my uncle told me that my name and license number is on California Board of Nursing. I got my license! :yelclap: So, to people who are yet to take exam ... I would advise you to KNOW YOUR CONTENTS WELL and PDA is the book to learn how to prioritize the given conditions. hello...Diana2520..thankx!! yes i had alot of SATAs ,around 20..3drag n drop,3 calculations and a lot of priority questions..i don't know what went wrong..when i left the test center i was feeling that i'm over with it.i'd worked so hard for it..well now i'm going to take it soon..jus waiting for the official test report..

hello everyone.. i took the NCLEX-RN test on march 31,here in california ...i did 210 questions in whole six hours.i ran out of time...so i was wandering what should i expect the results to be?....will i pass the test or not...it was my 2nd attempt.. very anxious about that!!..plz post some viewss!!.. thank you very much!!

congratulationss parveen!!.u deserved to pass this time!! i'll be taking mine on march 31...m doing 50-75 questions a day...but my scores at NCSBN are b/w 50%-60% only...i'm nervous n a bit confused....any last mine advise would be appreciated.. ..n good luck for march 25..!!

hi , i'm a foreign graduated nurse,recently preparing for NCLEX-RN. i've done three years general nursing n midwifery diploma course from india. i just wanted to get some information regarding PCT,that can i apply to work as a PCT at dialysis centers or i'll have to take the PCT training programme first? any suggestions will be appreciated.

hey friendz i've had the same experience last week....a lot of SATA,n 'Nurse joined a conference' type questions.I had total 75 questions..five dayz after the test i tried PVT,was very sad to see that i could register myself again..so now as i already know that i've failed this time, 've started to prepare myself for next exam. I just want to know that where can i find that type of questions to practice... CONGRATs to those who passed already ...n we who din't succeed this time....don't loose hope,lets try it again!!

hi there, i used to score b/w 48-58% in kaplan qbank questions..but there was a number of repeated questions in every test,so may be i was able to remember theanswers to the questions. now i just want to know that whether i should review the course book or stick with the questions only... thank u very much 4 your support and suggestions
