During the first year, your schedule is pretty chaotic, or at least it was when I started 2 years ago. Monday you have class during the morning through mid afternoon. Tuesday you would spend the first half of the day in clinical/simulation and the second half in a classroom setting. Or visa verse, depending on your group. Wednesday was afternoon classes and Thursday and Friday alternated clinical and simulation. It's very time consuming for the entire first year in the program. The schedules are very different for everyone (between various groups, clinical sites, and coursework) so it's difficult to say how your schedule might look. When I first started, I looked at my schedule on raiderlink and thought, "wow! Class only 3 times a week. No big deal." But the raiderlink schedule doesn't account for clinical time. You will get a specific schedule on the first day of class. Your entire week is jam packed with nursing stuff. My best advice is to get a planner, and carry it with you everywhere. You won't be able to function without it. Hopefully that gives you an idea of what it's like. Good luck!
