I took an EKG Technician class last summer, but was never able to get hired as a tech at a local hospital because everyone wants 6 months experience. In the meantime, I subscribed to Learn To Read An ECG ? Sample 5-3 because the cardiologist teaching on this site is excellent. I have learned tons from him and hope to use that knowledge to secure an ICU position once I graduate from UTHHSC BSN Program next summer. Diana

Last summer I got my certification as an EKG Technician with the idea of working as a Tech while finishing nursing school. I never got a job, but did find this website to whcih I subscribe and find the cardiologist is an excellent teacher. Learn To Read An ECG ? Sample 5-3 I pay $24.95 a month and have spent the last year learning tons and once I start my BSN Program at UTHHSC in May, 2013, I plan to give up my subscription. Just thought I'd share. Diana

LunahRN I cannot thank you enough!!! For the winterim 2012-13 I had registered for Psych 2314 Lifespan and Development because TWU requires it by February 1 (my BSN deadline to start clinicals in Fall 2013). Anyhow, I had forgotten this incredibly important piece of information because I was also trying to take English 1302 Comp 2 so I could fast-track the English class over the shorter semester. I just finished the English class and enjoyed it much more than I ever thought I would have, and am now checking my portal at TWU for the next steps in my application process when I realized there was a good reason why I had selected to take the psych 2314 over winterim -- it is required to be completed by February 1st! I am panicking here big time -- I have all my pre-reqs completed except for two government classes and the lifespan class so I registered to take them spring 2013, which obviously isn't going to work with the Feb 1st deadline. I've had psych 101 and abnormal psych and I already have the text ready to start the course next week. I have been searching for the last two hours for "independent study", "online" psych lifespan development courses trying to find one I can finish in the next 2 weeks. I did find two who offered independent study at a cost of $1,000 and $1,250! I used your link and discovered TWU does accept CLEP for the psych 2314 so I am so grateful you posted this information! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I found there are course outlines showing they pretty much read the whole book. I can do this! Thank you so much. Off to bed to read a book.... lol Diana
